When I first moved to Richmond (year ago) I thought I would try out a legitimate massage and took the advice of my neighbor at the time who recommended a number to try. Needless to say, that number led me to a provider in the West End which ended up being a sting. Silly me I should have seen the flags; which I'll share (others can add to it)
When I made the appointment, nothing was suspicious on the phone, however when I got there.
1. She was wearing jeans and a sweater. If you're advertising I would expect something more seductive.
2. There was lingerie laid out on the bed, if the provider is fully dressed and has lingerie on the bed. Be on guard.
3. She was very explicit with what she was providing, when she offered a BJ, I was first surprised (thought I was there for a massage) but then got nervous because it didn't feel right. She told me to put the money on the table and told me that she was going to go change.
4. I did not undress which was a good thing since the LE came in at that moment.
RED flags:
1. If the person is wearing more clothing than you, play close attention.
2. Check the surroundings. Usually you would expect some toiletries in the bathroom or a bag or suitcase in the room, if the room is completely empty of a few personal items then this should definitely raise a flag.
3. If there she has lingerie laid out, then red flag. She should be wearing it right? Unless specifically requested or stated.
4. If she asks detailed questions and asks you to repeat what you want then definite red flag.
5. If she says she's got to go to the bathroom after you just set the money down to go change then cancel or it may be too late. Lastly, don't undress until she is present or ask her to help you out. If she is willing then you're in the clear, if she doesn't and vacates the room then you're in trouble.
Just a few things for those new like me. I learned the hard way
