Total crap shoot and most likely a waste of time and money. I used it maybe 15 years ago and did meet up with a couple. And that was just total luck. I signed up for a couple months recently and nothing much happened other than a couple of emails. Maybe I'm too old now. I did notice that there are some profiles from people that have been members for over 10 years and I recognized their same pics from my first session on there. The only way you can communicate is to pay the fee. I'm sure there will be guys that tell some other stories so YMMV.
