Was out cruising around between 4 and 5 am on Monday. I was surprised that there was actually several SW out even though it was lightly raining. That sucks. And it definitely sounds like a setup. I'm glad that the only thing you lost was a few dollars, though. Personally, I usually stick with 2 or 3 regulars, but even then I try to pick my own spots to park. I've learned the hard way not to be too trusting of anyone.

1. Know the area and the places you can park without any trouble. I've always tried the out of sight out mind rule. In other words know places you can park without being seen from the street.

2. Never let them tell you where to go and park. (Unless it is someone you've seen a lot.

3. You take them to those places you already know about and feel comfortable in. Most SW's won't mind as long as you take them back to where you found them.
