I know many of you guys have said you enjoy Vivide. I went yesterday afternoon around 2 to see for myself. I figured it may have promise since I used to frequent Bodytap back in the day. Charged $10 entrance in the middle of the day was first shock. But I paid expecting to walk into a lavish environment. Walked in and was directed the way to go. I was definitely not impressed. The decor is terrible seats cracked and taped and covered with plastic. The whole place looked disorganized. All the tv's on the walls don't give me strip club vibe and yes I know it is a regular club at night but come on man. On to the lighting, it was way to bright. This in turn cause another issue I was able to see the girls and all of their imperfections. It was a surgically enhanced Latina there with awesome curves from a distance. But once you got close you could see that she must of got her surgeries for cheap. Her body was terrible and that face and double chin. She looks like she has to be pushing 40. Time for her to go to Clermont. There was a couple cute spinners black, white and latina and a few fugly's. But not worth the $10 dances, $10 entrance, and $10 measured shots. And about the shots. Only 2 different types of vodka. Grey goose and ciroc. Fortunately they had my backup drink Makers mark which I don't like to drink especially when I am driving because of the smell. Then later when I asked for beer choices she started with we have this and we have that and I think we have some of this left. How is the bar not stocked with as much money as they make. Stayed a couple of hours. $10 entrance, $96 tab plus $20 tip for server, a few dances I would guess $100 that puts me at $226. Oh and I forgot the Dj was apparently busy a couple of times and the music completely shut off. Not the experience I was expecting. Was going on a Monday, I know of no club that has anything decent going on on Mondays. As for the rest, I say, to each their own. Several of us really enjoy it but only go Thursday thru Saturday, maybe a Wednesday but even that is a rarity for me.

Was in the area so I stopped in at oasis. It has been a while since I have been there, why go to oasis when there was follies! Anyways got a dance from a sexy Latina, pretty hot. The follies manager comps entries, VIPs, and generally looks out for mongers who in turn pump and promote the e club for him. This also happened at follies when it started to go to shit. The truth is that Vivide is one of the more erratic clubs in ATL. If you're cool with black women, there's much better spots at half the price. Some of the black clubs also have Cubans from follies as well. Your experience is not surprising to anyone here. Also, when you read reviews, also look for the promotion. If you see obvious promoting, it's best to skip the place.
I was cheated by a waitress I gave her twenty to cover a drink I got 5 back and I asked what was going on and she said I gave her 5 dollar tip. I knew better since I did not have a five spot in my wallet. So she gave me 5 back and I gave her a one to replace. So she got two dollars in tips instead of one as I had planned and I was still short of change from her. I didn't complain further. But, it is also the waitress's that you have to watch.

I have been many times to Strokers, Pinups, Blaze, Diamonds, and Rumors. Less often to Wax (the drive) and Platinum (lack of parking and tiny). Have not been to Gold Rush but need to at least give it a shot. Of course Follies, Pink Pony and Oasis (those last two don't really have decent dances so I would rather just have dinner somewhere).

Wax offers everything you get at Vivide, with a good day shift full of thick and thin dancers. Wax also has a cheaper VIP than Vivide. Wax also has 5 $ dances which is half the price of Vivide. The pours at WAX are much better, and the seating situation. I could say the same for blaze as well. While pinups is lacking on extras, it's also better in every way than Vivide. Again, my recommendations are only for people who are okay with predominantly black clubs, with a. Few Cubans sprinkled in. I call it like I see it, with regards to people pumpin go clubs. Not being sarcastic, just offering obvious clues as to why you've constantly seen follies and now Vivide reviews mention management. On another site, posters have came right out and states that they want to support the club because of there relationship with the former follies management.
Regarding the Latina's, they split up. You'll find them at Platinum, wax, and Vivide. There used to be a few at Diamonds as well but they're mostly gone now. The also used to bounce around, but it seems they've all settled into the club of there choice now. The best looking ones are at Platinum. Vivide and Wax have the same quality of Cubans.

I'm OK with Pinups but to see anything I have to take the girls past the pool tables all the way back to the well lit area where they have a couch and some chairs. So please, do not accuse me of any nefarious motives about the place, I have said many times that the reasons I like it are: The two-story high ceiling allows me to breathe easier even when a cigarette smoker is close to me, the dances are nude and up close and personal with much touching going on, I can milk a $6 or $7 beer for a few hours, most of the girls are friendly, and I rarely see one of the uppity girls I see at other clubs. All of these, except the smoking, is why I also like Diamonds and Goldrush. Although GR appears to be dying, unless it get good late at night but I am never there that late.

After reading some positive postings on Vivide, I decided to check it out last Thursday at around 3 pm. Knowing already it is not going to be Follies, my experience was somewhat mixed.
I parked on the side of the club closer to the back. While I was just sitting in my car and make sure no one was approaching for a ridiculous amount of a parking fee, I can see a full operation going on in the back of the club. It was quiet a sight for a suburbian as myself. Aside from the brazen drug handling going on, it was free to park, I felt safe enough to proceed. However, when I got to the door, as the other poster mentioned, a $10 entrance fee was a bit of a surprise in broad daylight and is going to need some getting used to. After descending the seemingly longest staircase of the world. I had no idea where to sit or go. I am never comfortable going to a new club the first time, especially where it is so freaking bright!! I headed for the bar. Ordered a well, gave the bartender 10 bucks and never got any change back. The place was pretty slow, I could see about 15 to 20 girls with lessor number of customers. None of them were dancing though. They were just simply hanging out.
Within minutes, a young 24 came over and made me feel immediately more alive. We went to one of the booth and sat for awhile then gave me 2 dances. Even though she was sweet and has a great body, I decided to give someone else a chance to earn my money. I looked around and noticed a hot Latina was just standing by the restroom looking at me. But it seems to be the only place to go for alternative girls. I think the dances are $15 now also. And no higher mileage than Wax across the street.
