Black clubs were the emphasis
I am an occasional poster regarding Vivide and I do have more positive than negative comments. Don't have a relationship with any employees although Barry (from Follies, I get Jimmy and Barry mixed up. Never met either one) always acknowledges me with a wave if he is there. I thinks Sgt Lurker posts about as much as anyone. He talks mostly about how much mileage he gets on dances and it's usually good (not always. Sarge is a straight shooter). Agree with the erratic 100%. I have walked out after 20 minutes if I don't see what I like (take enough time for them to cycle out of the dressing room). I have PM'd some of the more frequent posters about various things but these same guys are reviewing all the clubs, not just Vivide. I go to all (or nearly all) the black clubs on day shift. Not often over to the Westside due to the drive. So you say there are much better spots on day shift for high mileage dances? Love to hear your suggestions. I have been many times to Strokers, Pinups, Blaze, Diamonds, and Rumors. Less often to Wax (the drive) and Platinum (lack of parking and tiny). Have not been to Gold Rush but need to at least give it a shot. Of course Follies, Pink Pony and Oasis (those last two don't really have decent dances so I would rather just have dinner somewhere).
So you say there are many AA or mixed clubs that are much more consistent for high mileage dances, dancer quality, and overall experience on day shift? Love to hear your recommendations. I have roughly 175 club visits in the past 5 years so if I am missing a good one I would love to know about it. Thanks and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way. Always learning on the board, even at 63.
It's not just here, but if your active on the other site you'll see guys constantly pumping the club and talking about how Barry hooked them up with drinks, how nice he is, how great the club is, and or how Vivide is the best option in the city. The truth is that if you're into black women (as mentioned in my post) there are much better clubs to visit. Wax offers everything you get at Vivide, with a good day shift full of thick and thin dancers. Wax also has a cheaper VIP than Vivide. Wax also has 5 $ dances which is half the price of Vivide. The pours at WAX are much better, and the seating situation. I could say the same for blaze as well. While pinups is lacking on extras, it's also better in every way than Vivide. Again, my recommendations are only for people who are okay with predominantly black clubs, with a. Few Cubans sprinkled in. I call it like I see it, with regards to people pumpin go clubs. If you're constantly recommending Vivide, and talking about the manager, it's going to look strange when you tell someone they went on the wrong day. I've never seen anyone promoting Vivide as a good club, state, "don't go Monday through Wednesday. Have you heard anything similar? Again read the posts here and on the other site and you'll see the same people mentioning management in there posts and talking about Vivde being the best option right now. If you've been to as many clubs as you state, you know that's BS.
