Perhaps it makes them feel more in control and "empowered", but the two people still have to match first, so it doesn't really matter who sends the first message, at that point. If you are young and attractive, then Bumble is probably a good hookup app. But old and relatively unattractive, not so much.

Maybe a better question, do you ever get messages from women over 45? If she accepts whatever the amount is that you offer no money is exchanged at that point. It only open's the ability to contact them via pm after unlocking them with credits. You can agree to whatever amount or service but I would highly suggest you take those kind of detailed conversations to another platform (text or whatever). Also note that after any exchange information is given you can not receive a credit refund from WYP if the "date" doesn't workout. Good rule of thumb is to feel them out with a pm and if it sounds like you two are on the same page take the convo elsewhere.
