There are still a few out there
We must be seeing different people! Pretty much all I've ever met were users (meaning they use people or are predators) There are all kinds of horror stories guys have posted about trying to help these ladies and can't recall any that end well. Years ago girls used the business as a stepping stone to a better life pay for schooling or college just like strippers did. A friend owned a strip club and use to joke about all the girls he put though school. Meth heroin coke and crack changed all that now 90-95% it's to furnish drugs for them and the pimp / boyfriend and posse. Be nice and respectful yes but remember it's a business only transaction. Remember soon as your out the door their laughing what a loser and sucker you are giving them your cash. It would be pretty interesting to leave a cheap cellphone on somewhere in the room and hear what is said after you leave. Doubt any of us would like what's said. There may be that diamond in the rough you want to befriend but it's rare in Madison. Most of these girls have been preyed upon in life boyfriend / pimp, had bad family lives, been beaten etc. So for them to become predators on guys is just their way of getting even. They figure it's their turn. Years ago some guys married escorts they met and it worked because it was different type of women than these days. Stay safe out there.
I am sure we have seen many of the same over the years, did not say this works with all. It certainly is not the norm, but rest assured there few gems out there worth befriending and even helping out.
The one lady was able to get out of a bad situation and we are friends to this day, just don't get to see her anymore.
However you look at it just remember they are people with various life experiences. If you assume they are all the same you will never recognize a gem when you find her.
I can usually tell if there is potential or not by the second visit. If not no harm no foul. And I move on.
As with anything there is always the potential for bad actors out there, so point well taken to always be careful. Assuming they are all bad actors is painting with a pretty broad brush.
You are absolutely right though not as common as they once were, but out there if you are open to the concept.
Really comes down to we reap what we show. If you predisposed that everyone is the same then that is all you will find.
Good luck and be safe.
