Screening Is Not The Enemy
So we have two who I assume are providers, with one post each, arguing in favor of being screened, hoping we'll all forget about the BySpanish problem.
Perhaps the admin should have a look at these two posts.
Not sure what the Admin will do since they are not breaking any rules, (at least none I am aware of).
As far as screening goes, I used to be just like you and would have argued until the cows came home that I would never allow a provider to screen me. That was until I started traveling heavily and learned that there are a lot of incredibly gorgeous providers out there that you will not find on BP and they all screen. I realized pretty quickly that I was drastically limiting myself by not seeing providers that screened clients, so I decided to look into the screening process. Once I realized that most of them only wanted valid references from well known providers I relaxed a little and started working on separating my real life from my hobby life. I joined other boards, actively participated and did a lot of research on how to get screened without actually giving any information that traces back to your real life.
The key for me was using a phone number that is not traced back to me, (I have several different numbers) and never using my real name, (I have a few different names). Once you see a few newbie friendly providers that are willing to provide you a reference, (using a fake number and fake name) you can work your way up to the providers that will only see clients they can verify and you have not given any real life information. It did take a little work at first, but now I have references all over the US willing to vouch for me and they have no information that will trace back to me.
That being said, providers like Alexia Dior that require your I'd and job information are automatically crossed off my list. Luckily though, she is the only provider I have ever run into that requires this. I will never provide any information to any provider that can be traced back to me and all the posts on any of the boards I am a member of can not be traced back to actual events since they are all lies that I have made up and or dreams and I have never actually broken any laws in my life.
I have never visited a Message Parlor, but as far as the whole Spanish and Daisy controversy goes, even if I would have been a regular or either, LE would only have my fake number and fake name and any notes would be tied to those and I would have no problems with them being releasing to the public.

Is Screening really just screeining?
So we have two who I assume are providers, with one post each, arguing in favor of being screened, hoping we'll all forget about the BySpanish problem.
Perhaps the admin should have a look at these two posts.
I completely support a providers need to protect herself against LE and abusive predators that answer their Ads. The problem with screening is that most providers don't respect the information.
Provided by well intended, respectful, well intended clients! I know for a fact, that information that I have provided in confidence, out of respect for the providers I intend to support has been stored, saved.
And filed in order to use in the providers defense in the event of any future bust as leverage.
This has been in the "Mayflower Madame case" , the Heidi Fleiss case and obviously in the most recent cases in Tucson.
If the providers that require screening would be professional enough to assure and in fact follow through with the deletion of screening information, perhaps the gentleman that would like to frequent their services would feel more assured and inclined to provide screening info.
That way they would be more confident that the info wouldn't be use against them in the future!
I'll second and third this motion
What ILH has mapped out is exactly the path I took, and I couldn't agree more. You can get in some beautiful doors without putting your whole life on the line. Don't relinquish control of any information that could bite you later, just move on to the next ad and copiously research to make sure you are meeting someone that will leave you satisfied when you exit.
You don't have to search the internet for very long to find a list of "clients" that someone has given up in the hope of achieving leniency following a brush with LE. There are a lot of them out there and they make it into public purview because a lot of people disclose way too much information. Skip the relevance of whether you are guilty or innocent upon contacting an advertising professional. What happened at your meeting doesn't really matter. She is a categorized professional and when your real name, DL number, and place of employment get leaked to the press, you will have the opportunity to reap the experience of being guilty and subsequently hanged without a trial. Or, you could follow ILH's path. Got a past friend that has gotten crosswise in the system? Feel horribly sorry over the loss of a friend whom you cherish, and then drop a $10 phone in the trash and move on. You paid for your experience once, no need to pay twice.
