You can tell where the replies don't quite make sense) leads you on for a bit, then eventually asks to verify you "for free" on some site they use "for their protection against creeps". The scam then varies; either they harvest your data (phone or email and cc identity data) or the verification comes with some sort of subscription that will start recurring monthly on your cc bill.

So all of those posts are likely done programmatically, from pic upload, to bio, to email, etc.
Then once those email accounts have gotten a lot of replies to them, they can gather a list of email accounts that replied and target spammy ads to said emails (boner pills, cam girls, etc) which have a lot higher clickthrough rate than normal ads.
