I've been exchanging emails with this gal from the Resume' section of Craigslist. Anyway, we're about to meet. However, in our most recent correspondence, she stated 'if I get a ride, I'm going to need the money upfront to pay my driver' which is her friend. I think this is a definite red-flad seeing that this will be our 1st meeting. I told her I'm not comfortable paying upfront, and I won't. Am I being overly dramatic? Something's telling me to stay clear of this. Any thoughts?

That should take care of 100 miles round trip.
Why does she refer to her "friend" as her "driver"? A friend would do it for gas $, a "driver" for the $$.
How far away is she coming from? Did you offer to pick her up? How long is she expected to stay, where does the "driver" go once she is dropped off?
Have any other discussions taken place about donations, gifts, roses, etc? Are we talking about the whole gift, roses, donation, at drop off?
Sounds like a bunch of unanswered questions before the "date".

Obviously the former isn't the case so I would stay clear of this one if I were you. You could call her bluff and tell her you'll come get her yourself just to see what she says. Maybe drugs, IMO that's a red flag. What's to prevent her from taking your money, going over to her driver to pay him but instead hops in the car and off they go, into the wild blue yonder. It's another thing if she wants the money up front once in room, that's common, but not the best situation. Why don't you offer to pick her up, then take her back home afterwards, saving her the money for her driver?

That's why I posted for opinions. By the way, don't be so quick to judge the resume section. Many girls post on there that are looking for money such as college students. If you play your cards right, success can be had. One has a better chance of meeting a crack ***** girl on backpage than they would on CL.

Now I'm certainly not suggesting that he give her money and let her walk back to the car either, because this probably is a scam.

I was stupid enough to give her the money right away. One minute later, she says I forgot the condom in my card. She goes out, hopped in and left. I was so pissed! Never, ever again will that happen.

Either way, even if she was originally willing to actually provide the agreed upon service, it doesn't mean that she won't rip you off instead if given the opportunity. This is at least your second inquiry looking for advice on a chick you found in the resume section. If I recall clearly, last year your tried to hook up with a cute chick that actually had a Model Mayhem profile. We all spent a bunch of time discussing and inquiring if you hit pay dirt. As far as I recall you did not.
So my question is this; have you ever scored ass off of the resume section? If so great and I certainly encourage you to continue the quest. If not, well, take a peek at my title.
