If you don't have the balls to give the waiter a 5% tip when the service is bad, don't blame the waiter.

And if you do have the balls to do it, don't go back to the restaurant hoping to get great service.

I feel I've posted a lot of good information, and given a lot more by back channels. Both on new places that haven't been reviewed before, and on how to behave. While I've told people they were wrong, I've not gotten personal.

I take the chance I've learned a lot here, and I'm happy to keep giving back. But only if you guys think I'm giving back.

That being said, you'll have to take me as I am. When blowhards post bullshit, I will tell them they're wrong. I respect people because of what they contribute, not because of their magical "senior member" status.

Seems like more and more in this electronic society we rely on faceless forums. The more people read the more they don't 'read' the way they were meant to?

I'll say this I have used both Web and Gravel's notes and posts. How much is useful in my day to day life? Well depends upon whats on that days open time slot or SLOTS.

Give intel and Take intel. When you give. Have substance! It is meant for us 'hobbist', whatever level you are to be: SAFE, SECURE, and Enjoyable experiences. When those are very hard to find now adays.

I think that there is enough bullshit out there that we could keep less on the boards.

There have been postings here about AMP conduct. Do's and don't's. I gotta say a place I haven't been into before I can usually tell in the first 5mins. Wow, beautiful butt. Then they push away or smile and giggle. I stop and then enjoy. I never push the kitty. Gotta get a feel for girl and establishment.

I have been hobbying since 2000. I do not seek out FS. I have done the AMPs here, RI and CO. Personally, I rather enjoy getting the extras (HE only) at places not normally associated with extras and which offer a good massage. It is like a challenge to me!

And yes, I have actually asked, even at the more high profile jack shacks, what irritates them. No surprise, most tell me it is when a "new" customer makes assumptions, treats them like servants, gropes. Some have told me they would not deliver and probably would not massage these gents again.

Of course, there are many exceptions. And the girls at some AMPs, who may not even be there if they had a choice, may tolerate more.

Having said that, everyone is entitled to their approach and their sage advice is appreciated. But remember, it is based on your experiences, so differing opinions should be welcome and discussed for their value under different circumstances.

And I can generally tell on the next outing whether the tip offended them. If so, and I don't think they are worth more, then I move on.

Of course, they are primarily making their living on the tips, so I don't blame them. Just be a good consumer, as you would with any other service. Shop around, compare. Personally, I won't get into any money discussion, but if I did, I could certainly see how they can get offended by my dickering over their own perceived value. To me, this already puts a damper on my fun.

I'd hate for this to become a place where we pick apart each others habits, and I don't think that was anyones intention. Talking about money (which was the initial discussion) has a tendency to escalate into other things, as people have strong feelings about it.

Gravel, you've provided me with some very good info. You've earned your keep, as I hope I have done.

I DO think it's HILARIOUS (not in a mean spirited or argumentative way but just plain old funny) that the same person who suggested lower tips also was on the pro-grope side. Don't take that personally, it is in no way a dig. It just made me laugh.

WD is a generous contributor. He's TOFFT many times, and he has my respect. IMO, he is very forthright in his postings, and I think that implying that WD is a blowhard is completely out-of-line. When he tries something that doesn't work, he reports it. Same with some other "senior" members, such as MM when he got burned. When WD has information, he shares it with the membership. "Senior" member status is minimally relevant. "Senior contributor" status is very relevant, IMO.

You have about four "quasi-reviews", which themselves yield nominal information. The remainder of your posts appear to be questions, advise, or disagreements. You may be a very experienced hobbyist, but you apparently keep your ladies to yourself. Personally, I don't need advice about how to interact with a lady, but I always appreciate a bone-fide review.

Both WD and you are entitled to your opinions. However, if you don't like WD's posts, there are simple solutions, such as the ignore list, rather than to ask the membership to serve as the jury in an interpersonal dispute and threatening not to continue to post if the membership doesn't take your side.

I didn't ask the board to serve as a jury in a dispute, though. I only asked if I was a meaningful contributor. Thank you for your answer. I didn't realize that, in the space of three months, my lengthy reviews of Golden Water, Orchid, Yumi, Lily's, Aiko, a place in Somerville that I've discussed via backchannels, GFE in somerville, etc., only counted as quasi-reviews with nominal information. Especially given that I was the first person on the board to cover three of those places.

I wish someone had pointed out what was wrong with those reviews and I would have tried harder. If I didn't share more information, it's because I was trying to follow the rules about posting that I've seen on here. I've always happily given out more via backchannels.

No, I don't "keep my ladies to myself" but that was the best I could do in four months.

Have you ever seen anyone tout their senior member status and (sadly) attempt to use it as leverage? Please provide a link if you can find one because I haven't seen anyone do it, including WebDog.

Being a senior member means that you can post immediately without review, nothing more. Abso-fuckin-lutely nothing more. People with 1 or 1,000 posts are all equals here and we're all just guests, here at the discretion of Jackson. In two or so months, you'll be able to post immediately too. Be patient, we all had to wait, and you'll be there before you know it.

As far as being sorry for your previous posts, if that's true, why wouldn't you edit them or delete them? It's probably not too late even now.

As far as respecting people goes, there are more parameters to respect people for than just the volume or quality of information they write because that can be faked. Easily faked. People can write "informative" posts by repeating what others have reported, elaborating on that or simply making new stuff up that can't/won't be corroborated or is corroborated by another screen name that they have. Also LE reads every word we write and people adjust their posts accordingly. Knowing that, faulting people for not posting information is the same as faulting them for [i]not[/i] giving information to the police.

I have jumped into the forum to catch up on my reading and damn, there sure seems to be a lot of activity.

Like everyone, else, I have some opinions on all the reading I caught up on. I have been in this hobby for more years that some of our providers have been on this planet..lol.

My first AMP was in Saigon in 1969 and I have been hooked on massage visits since then. I have been in AMP's and other MP's in many different cities when the yellow pages was the only intel you had. I traveled the entire US in my job and it was all trial and error with no reports or info to steer me in any specific direction.

Along came Screw and the Phoenix which gave more helpful hints and then finally the internet and the sites such as this to exchange info.

As with all thiese sites, I look for a guy's take on his individual experience and reporting as such all the time realizing that one man's trash is another man's treasure. We all have different tastes, different goals and as a result different experiences.

One example is that I got good intel on Angel and Amy in here and for me they both allow access to mountains and valleys and others report no access to Amy's valley. I don't believe this is a call for BS, but rather accept that for the most part, posters on here don't BS with the exception of an infamous one who will go unnamed but does not frequent this MP forum.

I have found in all my years that the softer, gentler approach with some discretion and respect pays off in spades. I don't have the time nor the energy to get into fingerpointing or agruing for after all, I look for this forum to provide good, solid intel for all to reap the benefits.

We find a great MP, they get good business and everyone walks away a winner.

I am not looking for a love in, but hell, let's stop dissing one another and get back to the purpose of this site; good solid intel and info exchange and finding the places where our hard earned dollars should be spent.

The old days of Royal Sauna, Ole English Health Club and the bowling alley just to name a few. The old days were so much better. Besides being cheaper the ladies appreciated what they got from you (most did). Nowadays it almost seems to be lets just get all we can in the quickest amount of time. Although the quantity seems to be up the quality seems to be lacking. Here's to 2008 being a safe and happy year for us mongerers and the providers as well. SO

Hell in 1970 Gee Gee's in Portland was 15 for the hour and 5 for the tip and that was BJ included but gas was 29cents a gallon too. It's all relative but I will tell you those authentice Thai soapy massages were 25 US dollars and well woth that trip too.

CH, it sounds like we were in the same general area - my first was in Patpong, 1968 - and nothing anywhere else compares. Talk about being spoiled...

I just return from the big apple after a month long work related visit. While there stopped and visited several nice places and had a good time. Any new ones pop up here? Just getting that itch again.

She whips up some kind of an exfoliant, rubs that into your skin, and then rinses/cleans it off with a wet washcloth. She does a very nice job and while it it is not a substitute for a HE, it is a very nice (and totally unique) embellishment of the usual hot towel treatment. Definitely recommend you take her up on it at your next visit.

Ok. Yes I did read the reports but I found myself on Rt 16 during the storm on Thursday so I figured I would give it a shot.

The location is in an office building off of what looks like an alley. It was a nice and clean building. I rang the bell and was met at the door by a Chinese woman named Nicole. She was older than what I am used to but she seemed very pleasant so I decided to take the 1hr massage for. 6

She lead me into a large room with a long curtain that ran the length of the room. There were four or five curatined sections. I paid the house fee and prepared for the massage. She came in and covered me with a towel but within 5 minues the towel was off. I was a bit concerned as kept hearing a shuffling noise next door. Turned out to be the end of another massage session going on right next door. Not a great feeling.

THe massage was very good and the therapist was quite friendly. She made sure to "lean" against my hand and arms as she worked. I took it as a sign that a litle touching would be tolerated and it was. She allowed lots of roaming on the lower half. But that was it.

Very good massage, friendly atmosphere, but no HE. "Boss no let. "

It was a nice break from the backed up traffic, but there is not much of a chance that I will repeat. I value the ending too much.

If anyone has some recommendations for me. I'd love to hear about them

I'm back from Thailand, where I got excellent 2-hour therapeutic (no HE) massage for $12+tip, and memorable service (FS and beyond) in other places for $18 (hour, upcountry) to $60 (overnight, BKK) incl tip. Yes, I'm spoiled.

Called Angel at noon Saturday and was able to get appt for 3pm. When I got there, it was hopping. A number of walkins were asked to return at various later times. I guess she is busier than usual because of the holidays.

I think it always makes sense to call in advance if you can. During a busy season like this you could call just before going in, rather than walking in, and save yourself some time.

As a fan of excellent "clean" massage, I am still not impressed with Angel's therapeutic massage, but I do enjoy the creative extras. I was less than pleased with the interruptions to my massage caused by walk-ins. She also fields phone calls during massage.

BTW they are closed on Xmas. That does not go without saying. Boston's Chinese groceries are often open that day, and in Asia, it's just another business day for SWs.

Many of you have seen the ADs in CL, some of you have visited. They always have a PIC with a naked asian girl with a big smile, legs crossed and a single rose across her knees. Knock, knock ...door mysteriously opens and Mei's head pops out welcoming me in. My first impression was good. Mei was wearing a thin mini dress and in my opinion very pretty - a typically beautiful asian girl. Let me tell you she is NOT the girl in the PIC, but who is nowadays. Mei had long black hair to her mid back and cut straight across her forehead. She is from Beijing and here visiting. She is about 25 I would guess, no more. She is taking English classes every day, her conversational english is starting to take shape, but conversation will be difficult. Her measurements are about 5'5", 100 lbs and "A" cans. (The A's are how I know she is not the girl in the PIC. Anyhow, I like bigger cans, but no disappointments here - she is a nice girl.

She gives me a hug for a greeting, helps me undress completely, asked me if I wanted to take shower but opted to not as I had just taken one about 3 hours ago. Mei has me lay face down on the bed. She takes her cloths off immediately and begins a so-so massage. It is a nice sensual foreplay but not of massage quality at all. Her touch is nice.

To give the breakdown of time 5 minutes sensual massage she oiled herself up and then gave 10 minutes of body-to-body massage while I am still face down. She is directly on top of me with lots of skin contact and tits on back. She then sits up, faces the other way and uses her butt and legs to massage all over. As others reported, I could feel her privates very well. Nice!

One thing that struck me as a bit funny is she has a little bit of a tailbone at he end of the spine / top of her butt crack. All I could think of is the Jack Black movie "Shallow Hal" where the George Castanza character friend in the movie had a little tail that wagged, and some girl who liked dogs thought it was cute. Let me tell you Mei's "tail" wasn't that bad, and like I said she is a beautiful girl. This "feature" wasn't much of a buzzkill.

You guys are finding out why I have been going to Leeza since 2000 and I used to drive from Boston to Poughkeepsie, NY to see her (3 hours drive from here). I am so glad she moved here. I try to go at least once every two weeks. Her massage is very gentle and yet sensually intense. The key thing is that if you want to last a long time (with one pop), she can make it last a full hour before you come. I have not seen any one who could do that and I have tried in many states. When Christmas Eve arrives, errant memories take me back to a couple of Christmases spent in strange and inhospitable places. It makes me appreciate more every year that I can spend this time with family and friends.

But always in the background are memories of those who didn't make it. And that makes me feel very fortunate to be one of those who did.

I tried Beijing Massage on Mass Ave in Arlington. I had Summer who is older but attractive, although I think she was wearing some kind of girdle. The massage was good but not great. She giggled during some light caressing, but at the ending said "Boss no let me. Next time."

There are so many Asian massage places in various apartments these days. I've had some great times.

I did not get a chance to comment when that Grove St. Place got busted. I had been there maybe a week before. Excellent massage from very experienced and friendly mature provider. Too bad what happened, but I got very worried when they posted their address on CL not long after I was there. I can't imagine who suggested that was a good idea.

Called a number from the Phoenix and was directed to a place in the Dedham area. It is a little tough to find, but just be patient. The masseuse there was mid-late 30s, very attractive, pleasant, and did a very good job, . 7 for the house plus tips. The place was very nice and very discreet also. My only complaints were, session was a little short, and the clean-up cloth was only lukewarm! When I got the urge a couple of weeks later, I called the same #, and talked about the short time, the "dispatcher" did giggle a little, and assured me that she would speak to the woman working (who was the same one.- she still had not rotated out, I guess.) But I wanted a little variety, so I went to.-

A place also from the Phoenix, which they said was in Lexington, but if it is, it is just inside. Very easy to get to, but follow their directions. The masseuse was a little older, I think, and slightly less attractive, but gave an absolutely outstanding massage. 7 + tips again. The building and room are not as nice, either, so it is your call. I was there fairly late, and I thought I was after their closing time, but she took another appt while she was working with me, and did seem concerned that I be able to leave on time.

If only some of these places could stay open more than a few months, maybe we would get an even better level of service! In the meantimne, the perennial question: go back someplace else, or new adventures?

And in response to the topic of "roaming", etc. : No matter what I am thinking when I first walk into a place, I just try to relax and enjoy the first period of the massage. If a touch is a little different at some point, or I feel a thigh pressing against my arm, I just relax and enjoy. Show respect and friendliness, and very often you will have a great time. Has been true in Boston and beyond!

I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate all those that contribute to this forum. All of us are consumers of services that are either legal or illegal depending on the extent of service. Many of the services are misrepresented. Most of the services cost between $100 and $200. To have the opportunity to read a review before spending our money is wonderful. It may be exciting to walk into an AMP without any prior knowledge and be pleasantly surprised but it is also very disappointing to get a poor massage from an unattractive older woman that does not want to provide any release.

I have always enjoyed the contributions to this forum and have become a wiser consumer now that I read it on a regular basis.
