DK's Reports: Aroma & Tea Tree
My apologies for not updating this forum frequently enough.
I hope you don't mind me posting multiple visit info in one post.
Many of my latest massages have been at Aroma.
There are 3 providers working there now: JoAnne, Kelly, & Sue. I believe I have had services by all 3 providers at least twice. Sue is the most attractive of the 3. Kelly is the most spunky & fun. JoAnne is also a good provider.
Except for my first ever visit to Aroma (w/ Nana who is no longer there), I have never had a negative experience.
Tea Tree Therapy: I have been to Tea Tree once. Kimberly (aka Michelle) was the provider I had there, she used to work at Aroma. She remembered me from Aroma and gave a great NoVA massage experience.
Neither Aroma nor Tea Tree offer Table Showers (bummer for that) however, the places that I have gone w/ Table Showers (Youngs, Best, Zen) have all not been as consistently good as Aroma.
My Golden Palms Spidey Tingle
I've not seen any recent intel on Golden Palms. I called today to make an appointment and a young woman answered and took my appointment. A few things bothered this old Amp Veteran.
1. She use the word "imperative" that I call her back to confirm. "Imperative, is this some Iraqi mission?... That seemed like a very serious word to use for a Amp session.
2. She didnt' ask if I had been there before? This is a standard question I've gotten from AMPs and Providers. I thought that was strange also, like they didn't have an address that was dependable. Or they really never expect repeate business. ( Not a good sign )
3. I would have then expected the question "Any particular woman you would like to see"?
4. The address on CL is wrong, it listing is a resturant off of 28. That bothered me, since when do Amps need a Asian resturance as a fence?
5. It just felt weird with the inital phone call and maybe it's me, but "imperative" kept bothering me. Like they needed to have some "special" people waiting on me at the exact time I would show up.
6. When I called to cancel, the man answered the phone. Very business like.
7. My overall feeling was that they could care less about motivating or influencing me to come by. That came across as it really didn't matter if became a client or not. Just odd.
Golden Palms use to be located in Tysons, another location in those apts by the vienna metro, and a place in DD(they operate about 3 to 4 locations at a time. They have been around using different names and diff tele#s since about 2000. I used to hit the old place. Its the same ole tele#, I have seen in the past. They used to be expensive as hell for just a hj,but they mite be cheaper now. And with the terrorist thing goin' on, I think congress enacted something to let ppl know where the numbers are coming from with calling cards, I'm not sure but I know they (congress) were trying to do something.
Was it Kim's Acupressure?
I'd try it out and report back if someone could PM me and tell me where it is.
Wow, that brings back memories
The old Tiki Tiki Massage Parlor ! I believe that place was operating as late as 1976, perhaps even a few years later than that. It was in that older (1950s era) strip mall that's located where the W&OD bike path overpass goes through. In fact, I think the store that's there now is a party supplies store. Yeah, they made no bones (...no pun intended) about their services. I still remember my driver's ed instructor, referring to the place as we drove by. (We were on the 'road' part of the DE class.) There were 3 guys and 2 gals, plus the instructor, in the car. When we drove by, he made a joke that we should "stop in and have ____ and ___ (the two gals) give us massages." Talk about un-PC days! these days, his ass would've been fired in flash. Back then, no one made anything of it. The girls just thought he was a dirty old guy (probably all of 35). Times change, and so do the venues.
In 1973 I was 17 years old and had been drooling over the massage parlor ads in Northern Virginia for a couple of years. The place was filled with them and the ads did not pretend they were for therapeutic purposes. There were no AMPs that I recall. There was a story of a place called the "Tiki Tiki" (West Broad Street, Falls Church)...
G-Accupressure: Too Legit to Quit
Over the last few years I have been going to salons where my wife got her hair done for massages. The quality of the massages varied a lot, I don't think they are CMTs. Never any extras asked for or offered. Some of them spent a lot of time on the glutes. Last year I started going to a totally legit CMT that was pretty cheap in Reston/Herndon area for deep tissue massages. They were fantastic! The difference between a good trained practitioner and a salon massager was incredible.
About 6 months ago I took the wife for a couples massage to G-Accupressure in Herndon. They were not so consciencious with the cover up (like I cared) but the technique was the same as the CMT! Fantastic. You sort of got the feeling that maybe a little more was available (unfortunately not so). I have gone back about 7 times by myself. I normally get a deep tissue massage, but a couple times I asked for a "soft" massage; the first time I got a "finger-tip" massage without lotion that was pure extasy, leaving me literally squirming and moaning on the table and praying for her to "touch it". Outside of a little brush here and there it wasn't getting touched. The second soft massage was one with oil. Again close, but no cigar. On 4 occasions I tried to cop a feel of a tit. The women there are pretty nice looking. Two of them smoothly moved out of range as if it was just part of what they were doing. The other two immediately removed my hand, then acted like it never happened.
I asked for them to massage "lower" on 3 occasions, the response was always "no special massage", except one woman suggesting I take care of business myself right then. From what I read here, I am getting what other people are getting there, a great massage with no extras. Strictly legit. What a shame! But a really great massage! I will return, but I do need an "auxilliary outlet".
