While in the room there were no signs that the two females were actually staying in that room. There was no luggage, no wallets and no state issued Licenses. The room appeared to have not been lived in at all. The females were Marandized and questioned but did not want to tell officers where their stuff was located. Approxametly 30 minutes after arresting the females hrs there was a knock on the wall from the room next door. We did a knock and talk and spoke to this suspect. I asked if he had anything on his person and he said "no". I did a cursory patdown of his pockets to make sure he didn't possess a weapon. He did not. I said lets go inside the room and talk and we did. On the desk in front of the bed there were two room keys. One was clearly marked xx6 and one marked xx8. There was also a pink bag on th counter that appeared to be from Victoria's Secret. I handcuffed the suspect and read him his Maranda rights. He stated that he understood. I then asked where the girls id's were and he motioned to the purse that was sitting on the bed beside him. I then asked where their luggage was and he motioned to the red piece of luggage on the desk as well as two pieces of luggage in the closet area behing the door. He confessed that both rooms were in his name and that he had driven them to Nashville in his car. He stated that one of the females, xxx, is his girlfriend and the other, xxxxxxxx is like his sister.[/I]

2. Their testimony is needed to convict their promoter.

As soon as the officer 8 asked* me to lkets go in the room and talk I would had said no thank you officer, are we done here yet and close and locked my door. He let the officer in his room on his own. I guess pimps arent smart. You suppose to protect the ladies legally as well.

Even if he'd have said no, they'd have gone in anyway. The guy was pretty dumb though. You'd think he'd have a better system than knocking on the wall.

You would think he would have heard all the LEO or "extra traffic" around. Once he knocked on the wall, he was toast. Had he not opened his door, he may have bought himself time but they would have waited on him or forced themselves in eventually; no warrant needed. Without all the info, it's hard to tell what the whole thing is regarding the girls. Were they wiling participants or a form of trafficking? Later on I will share info on a case from a year ago, I just have to make sure not to violate any forum guidelines.

I would had been like you guys were loud so I knocked on wall to ask to quiet down, or any excuse. Really first off I would had never admitted knocking on the wall. But no, they can't search the room because of a knock on the wall. I would have not even answered the door which I can do if I choose and if I did I would had never admitted to knocking on the wall. I would had told them to get a search warrant.

I can see the reason why they would do so but as the report says, LEO "will still be able to make surprise inspections by getting a warrant". I had seen an old report where LEO simply looked at the guest list and recognized a name, which gave him reason to inspect, because he was sure he would find something illegal going on. LEO has many ways to get what they want, which I am all for as long as it doesn't infringe on people's rights. Officer xxxxx found a plastic bag in the night stand that contained several small white rocks that field tested positive for cocaine. Officer xxxxx also found some loose chore-boy behind the television. Xxxx didn't qualify for a citation.
