Massage Parlor Reports

Stopped by in the afternoon and asked if Anna was available. I was talking to her. Very tall, slender, attractive in my eyes. As with all Asian women, I refuse to guess ages as they're always older than they look.

I popped for the hour, and man was I glad. I've had hellish stress and lots of road time for months, and it's been taking its toll. She is trained in massage, and damn she's good. Great touch, requests feedback for too hard, not hard enough, etc. A real pro who made sure I was completely relaxed when I left. I will sleep well tonight.

She's a sweetie also. Got a couple warm hugs from her on the way out; just because, apparently. Take good care of this amazing woman.

Conversation the whole time in English with a 50 year old, with inferior massage skills? Sounds awful. LOL.

You could have gone to the mall and had the same thing with a properly clothed 30 year old for half the price.

Probably had a better masssage, and rubbed one out yourself.

So it is time. I haven't posted about NH in some time. It has actually been 3 or 4 weeks since I have been able to go there. I hopping at this point Coco is thinking, oh shit what is he going to say. LOL.

Don't get me wrong, I have not had a bad massage anywhere I have went to in the area, but I'm telling you. Invest a little time here. Let Coco and Anna get to know you.

I have more fun at this place. It's like going to get a massage from two hot friends. Whether it is Coco or Anna giving the massage it is always going to be great. The conversation is always fun. Coco has pretty good english, Anna is a little more limited on her english but that is part of the fun sometimes is trying to figure it out. And sometimes I say what? What? Just to screw with them because I understood the first time.

Both are very good at asking if the massage is to hard or too soft and actual listen and adjust depending on your response.

So I am just saying. If your respectful and put a little time in you will find that this is a fun place to go and much better than some of the other places that just want to get you in and get you out.

Yeah, I didn't want to be too harsh since she's clearly trying. But it was terrible and I would have preferred to spend the $ on airport chair massages.

A skilled massage is probably 80% of the value for me. So when it's terrible, there's pretty much no redemption. An attractive MT is always nice, but I'll gladly trade that for some real massage skill. I'll share some of my favorites shortly.

Overall I recommend this place pretty highly. The location is convenient, a strip mall with several businesses and parking both in front and around back. Given its prior incarnation, the neighbors assume the worst of the massage patrons and providers so expect some glares. LOL. Generally a clean, organized establishment with courteous staff. Full walled rooms, doors, music, hot towels, etc.

They have a shower (vertical), which is nice for cleaning up before and / or after. The massages are skilled and use the full hour. Handwork is the additional massage feature, provided at closing without negotiation or drama. Of the two providers I'm familiar with, I suggest the taller of the two: an excellent foot massage and a creative prologue to the handwork.

To my knowledge, they aren't headed toward what closed the prior incarnation of this spot, so manage your expectations accordingly. Hopefully they stick around long enough for all the neighbors to get accustomed or, better yet, become customers!

Noob, you're well traveled in recent months and from your posts it's clear that NH is a favorite. You obviously recommend the providers, but what's your take on the location compared to others? Unless my memory is failing me, they're a curtains-not-doors establishment and that just kind of sours the ambiance for me. Your two cents?

Went to Best Massage in Granger today. I've been a regular customer and I always had a good massage there. Unfortunately, today they let me down.

I got a new girl. I didn't catch her name: it was Ni Ni or something like that. Long hair, probably mid 30's. She was very friendly and giggled a lot. It was pretty clear from the beginning that she didn't know what she was doing. She seemed to be in a big hurry and her massage consisted mostly of random slapping and pounding. She used almost no lotion or oil. Just a little on my shoulders and back. No happiness to be found. I'm not even sure that I got my full hour.

The whole experience was not what I have come to expect at Best. I hope that the people who run the place see this post and fix things quickly. Otherwise, I will be looking or a new place to take my business.

I went to NH for the first time today after not being able to get a hold of a provider that I have been trying to meet.

Anyway, I have been to Granger and Yellow Moon so far and have had pretty good experiences at both of those. But nothing compared to me meeting Coco today at NH. Wow! That was the best massage I have ever had! We had some fun afterwards too.

Couldn't find much info about this location so decided to TOFTT. Dropped in late evening and no one was at the front desk so I took a seat to wait. Waited, and waited. Must have been 30 minutes before I finally gave up and left. Never saw anyone, although someone was walking around upstairs and the adjoining nail salon had customers. I'm not sure about the connection between the massage provider and the nail salon. They are separate addresses and businesses, but in the same building and very similar names. Didn't want to barge into the nail salon asking questions, so I bailed.

A few observations though: The massage therapist here also has a solo practice in Goshen. The layout is pretty small and open, with one entry / main area where it looks like foot massages happen and two massage rooms that open directly into the main area. A separate bathroom, that I think had a shower (upright). Pretty clean location, but the flowery air freshener or incense was a bit strong.

So, no details on the massage here unfortunately. Any info from others is welcome, and I may try to go back again, although there are plenty of other places that actually have someone to greet you when the business is open!

Was getting ready to post on this place, then saw Ts1976's report. Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I'll make sure to avoid long-haired NiNi. Let's hope she gets some on-the-job training fast!

My imagination here has been outstanding. It's always been the same MT (starts with J) since the first visit, and she has a fantastic, friendly disposition, excellent massage skills, and is fit and attractive. Additional massage features include a creative prologue from behind and a closing with creative, varied handwork. Really just great overall. A nice layout, clean and organized establishment, with amenities like hot towels, heated table, etc.

The construction of the rooms is a bit shoddy, looks like they didn't get the walls quite to the ceiling and just caulked the gaps. I wish they had a shower to wash off the oil afterward, but that's just my preference and the great massage more than compensates.

So, with Ts1976's report, it's clear that YMMV and choice of MT matters.

One final point: The adjoining business is an antique furniture restoration boutique owned by a Christian woman (yes, weird that I know this but it's true) so I worry a little about this neighbor eventually making a fuss. Luckily, that boutique isn't open every day so MT sessions can be planned accordingly. Happy to hear thoughts on this concern from others. Maybe my worry is unwarranted. But I like to do what I can to help avoid problems with the neighbors. It seems like neighbor complaints are the number one way for MT establishment to close.

- Antic.[/QUOTE]No, the curtains do not really bother me. There are doors also but they generally don't close them so coco and Anna can communicate with each other. What bothers me is the post above, reading about what he did on his first visit. Coco we need to talk. LOL.

Each place has its own pros and cons. NH is one of the rare places that I fit on the table. Other places my feet dangle off the end and I hate that. The rooms are a little small. That doesn't bother me I just remember I was in there once before Anna started there, I had the other girl that was there, she was doing the finger snap thing on my fingers and bashed her hand into the wall. I know that had to hurt like hell. I was even ready to cancel the rest of the massage but she finished like a trooper.

Mirage is a very clean, organized, and well maintained establishment. I was greeted by a short, young, and pretty lady with good English skills. She was friendly, flirty, and made me feel like she had been waiting all day just to see me. Unfortunately, I don't recall her name.

Her massage skills were fantastic. She demonstrated a firm, artistic technique and frequently asked if she was applying the right pressure. At one point, she used hot stones, which really relaxed my sore back. The massage included quite a bit of teasing, but no happiness was had at the end.

Mr. Steele makes a good point in his earlier post: Mirage serves a niche market by providing a pure therapeutic massage at prices that compete with the other Asian places in town. Recommended. Just don't expect any extras.

Ts1976, your suggestion made me stop and think, particularly given my very recent imagination about the very optical illusion you reported on next.

This is a place I've gotten to know pretty well, and although my imagination matches yours and Senor Steele's, I enjoy it's unique but limited style. The two youngish, shorter MTs have both proven very skilled, enthusiastic, friendly, and fun. Only on one occasion have I find one in a bad mood, but even then the massage was above average.

And then, during this "Year of the Monkey" season I imagined arriving to meet someone totally new. Taller, older, longer hair. Virtually no English, very little skill, dull attitude, and near total lack of creativity. I should have made a you-turn upon arrival, but foolishly hoped she was just a substitute greeter. Instead, it seemed like no one else was there. Normally you see one or two other MTs in the staff lounge, laundry, etc. But not this day. Place was dead, and this on a day / time that usually has other patrons.

So, one more anecdote for your Chinese New Year theory. It's some consolation, although these substitutes need to come with a 50% (or greater) discount. Here's to the Monkey, may his season of celebration come rapidly to a close!

I have a bilingual customer, who told me that the Mexicans have their own masseuses they see called 'mechanicas'. He said they had business cards and everything. Anyone heard of this?
