From today's Lowell Sun. Watch out guys.

LOWELL -- That girl walking the streets around Armory Park in the Lower Highlands on Saturday night wasn't a prostitute, and if you pulled up thinking she was, you landed in handcuffs pretty quickly.

The Vice Unit spent about five hours conducting a sting operation targeting alleged johns in the Lower Highlands, using an undercover female officer posing as a prostitute to catch their men.

And they caught 11 in all.

Detective Lt. Jim Hodgdon said police occasionally target johns instead of the prostitutes themselves to help keep potential clients from coming into the city and feeding the sex trade.

Arrested and charged with sexual conduct for pay:

- a whole shitload of names. Poor bastards.

All were bailed out by Sunday morning. They were to be arraigned Monday in Lowell District Court.

Only dummies get caught in stings. If you see a hot girl in Lowell, it's either a guy in drag or a cop. Know the rules, don't discuss anything until you are out of the area....... In the past I have had girls wanting money up front or trying find out what I wanted before the car was in motion. Do that and it's a long way to the slammer.

I'm glad I missed the sting; picking up someone I didn't know was a little dangerous, and I made a few passes before swooping in to make sure there were no suspicious looking vehicles in the area, but on Sunday I picked up Robyn, a 40's brunette at Jay's. We went to her apartment, did the deed and it was one of the best I've had from a SW. DFK, clean DATY, BBBJ and could have had BBFS if I wanted it (I passed). I paid $. 6 and $. 2 tip which is expensive by SW standards, but well worth it compared to a CL "escort".

She said she was only out because she needed rent money and although I usually take those stories with a grain of salt, I've been mongering in Lowell for fifteen years or so and I've never seen her before.

Of course, it's better to be safe than sorry (make that really sorry), but that doesn't stop me from wondering.

I've mongered in many cities, and no matter what the girl looks like you never know. Some decoys look a lot like a seasoned working girl. It's not enough to have her get right in either.- if she's a decoy, sure, you won't get convicted, but getting hassled is still going to suck and they might even arrest you anyway.

I have a rule that unless I've seen the girl out before and recognize her, I circle first and wait, passing her a few times to make sure she's a legitimate streetwalker. Yes, I've missed a few girls that way to more fearless mongers who will do a u-turn on a main street to pick up girls (crazy! ) but then again I've also never been arrested. Just a few months ago in Woonsocket I passed a girl and circled to see what was what, and when I came around for a second look at her some poor hobbyist was being pulled from his van by 4 cops and handcuffed. That would have been me if I had even pulled over on the first pass to have her get in.

Lowell was stop 2 last night. It was pretty much on lockdown, not a thing

time:11:30 pm

Cruised Lowell last Sunday from 10-11:30 PM or so. Found a few out. Not much quite to my liking, though. I was really tempted by one who was sitting in the doorway of an apartment on Elm St. Until I parked and walked by her to check her out up close. There was also one very pretty at Jay's, really nice wavy long hair on a bicycle, who I chatted up for a few, but she just seemed too skinny, and I worry about them being I'll when they are that thin. Saw one a bit older in nice tight pink shorts on Broadway but she was gone before I could circle back. One younger Latina at the corner of Gorham and Hobson gave me the eye, but she wasn't really to my taste. Ended up going home empty handed, but it was nice to at least see some out walking somewhere! Worcester has been dead lately with way too many stings.

In retrospect I should have picked up the chick on the bike and just had her give me an HJ while dragging that nice hair up and down me.

This past Tues I finally put a real effort in, and drove around for a few hours, about 7-10pm. On Broadway atWalker, I saw a smokin' latina in tight white pants and red bikini top, but I really can't say if she was working or not. I didn't get the look, but she had the walk. Other than that, it was nothing but crack ******. Crack for sure, I don't know about the "*****" part, and it doesn't matter, you couldn't pay me to even look at them up close. Why can't we have shoewhores walking around, someone addicted to buying shoes would be a lot less skanky, or how about a good old fashioned gambling habit. I digress. I did see what looked like action on Andover, just over the bridge, but I never heard you guys mention that street, so I dismissed it. But on my way out of town, in that same spot, there was a fat chick that gave me the eye but got in the car in front of me. So, in the future I'll add that spot to my rounds.

Also did a quick drive through on Weds at 8pm, and saw zilch. But, that was only one quick look at all the spots cuz I had Chinese takeout with me, and I mean food.

A couple of weeks ago, one of my favs at King Arthur's walked in wearing a T-shirt that said, "Will work for shoes."

Had some time so I thought I'd go through the usual spots in Lowell.

It has been pretty dry the last couple of times through, but tonight it wasn't bad. Saw WSW at Jays, kind of tall, big tits, spiky hair dyed a dark color. She left with a guy in a wheel chair. Caught her eye but I think she had other plans.

Did the loop a few times, went back to Jays to read the paper, she came back, fucked up, but still with the wheelchair guy. Watched as she left the lot and walked up appleton.

Cruised again, hoping to find her free, but saw her with a chunky blonde in front of the apts across from the GS. Think I got the wave from the blonde. She was eating crackers and some went down the fronnt of her shirt so I don't know if she was trying to flash of clear the crumbs.

Anyway, I want to know who the tall girl with the big tits is. Any info would be great as I would love to find her again. And what about the chunky blone? Any reviews?

There used to be a lot of action on Andover St., Pleasant St., High St. and that end of Rogers St. But I haven't seen a single one in that area in years. I will have to check again next time I am in Lowell.
