" Sometimes, they'll go with, "Can you put the donation where I can see it?" That's a judgement call. I usually come back with, "Nope. I'll show it to you, but that's it". The bottom line is, if they want it upfront, and get pissy about it, tell them to get out. Wanting it upfront is simply one of the biggest red flags there is.

If you take Truvada daily then the risk of HIV transmission decreases 99%. If you take it just the day you have sex it's down 92-97%. And that's with men having sex with men, without a condom (the group the medication was extensively studied).

They have to say the part about the safer sex practices because it's not 100% effective, but Truvada is a no brainier for someone going bare.
