If you could there would be effective vaccines for the common cold and influenza, which there are not. Biden will just attempt to mandate masks, shut everything down and try to take credit for a vaccine that's not effective and lacks sufficient safety studies.

No vaccine will stop Covid 19 dead in its tracks, but if it is even close to the 90% effectiveness that has been suggested, it can and will slow the exposure to to the disease, and the transmission of it, to a level where it really does become the common flu. Will people still get it? Sure, just like they get the flu, but it will enable society to reopen and allow individuals to take the precautions that feel are in their best interest.

The anti-mask crowd will, of course, refuse to be vaccinated and will continue to spread the disease, so it never completely go away, but the rest of society can reduce its effects to a point where we can all get back to our daily lives.

The CDC has jacked up flu vaccines for years because using a live virus is trying to project how and where lightning will strike, or where all farts since the inception of time have gone. The science is far from perfect. Putting a man on the moon is much easier than figuring out the complexities of the human body.
