I've used HX for a fair portion of my hobbying and can say I've been happy using their site.
All the *******-ish bells and whistles can get a bit annoying, but the feedback rating system works and makes the site worth joining IMO. I know its not 100% bust proof, but if a provider has a high rating and good reviews; I feel that much more comfortable going into the session.
As for it being a PITA - some girls may choose not to see you if you have a low 'trust rating' (which you will when you first join), but there are plenty that will see you regardless of your trust level.
