inside a luxury hotel in the city.
Commissioner Ed Davis tells WBZ-AM that the 26-year-old victim
from New York City may have been working as a prostitute and was
likely the victim of a robbery.
The victim, whose name was not released, was found Tuesday night
by a security guard bound and shot multiple times in the chest in
the hallway on the 20th floor of the Marriott Copley Plaza.
She was taken to Boston Medical Center where she later died.
Police say the woman had advertised as a masseuse on the craigslist web site.
Investigators believe the killer was the same man who robbed another woman at the Westin Hotel last week.
That woman had also advertised massage services on craigslist.
