Yeah, not feeling sorry for these guys at all.
If these guys really were looking for sex with children, then I agree totally that they're scum and deserve what they'll get. But that takes a lot on faith. These "demand reduction operations" by LE aren't supposed to produce trials and convictions but to publicize names and ruin lives as a deterrent to others. Imagine you're just a standard monger answering the wrong ad, and then LE publishes your name and says you were looking for kids. How would you deny it? I'm not saying that happened in this case, but I also don't think you can just believe that the cops only tell the truth when they use bad publicity to do the work of gathering evidence and presenting it at trial. If you take another look at those mugshots and think that maybe all these guys did was try to get laid for money, but got busted by cops who figured accusing them of pedophilia was easier than taking them to trial, you'll see what a nightmare that would be. The story just says that the purpose of the operation as a whole was to "identify individuals seeking to engage in commercial sex with minors," but you notice that none of the individual charges listed mentions minors, just "trafficking a person for a commercial sex act." Just sayin'.
Bottom line, LE is never your friend. Stay safe out there.

They had to have had something in the ad that made the subject a minor. If not the damages will be huge. Because yes those men's lives are ruined.

YJ.
I'm not questioning any of this. If the cops were really posing as kids and these guys bit, then down they should go. If I heard a girl say she was underage I wouldn't go for it, and not because it's probably a sting (though it probably is) but because I don't fuck underage girls. And I don't like people who do or would. So we're in agreement there. My point is that these cases are almost certainly not going to trial but will be pled out as much less serious charges because the main point of the operation is to get these guys' names and pictures in the paper with the charge "pedophile" attached to them. By the time any actual trial takes place, it won't be in the paper. The cops have no compunction charging you with soliciting kids, whatever the evidence, because it's just leverage for a plea bargain. And if you read down the story, these guys were all charged with "trafficking a person for a commercial sex act," which isn't sex with kids but (just) sex for money. So the cops told the radio station they were looking for pedophiles and caught sixteen mongers, and the radio station said they caught sixteen pedophiles, because that's a better story, even though the cops didn't actually say that, just that they caught sixteen mongers and were looking for pedophiles. None of us wants to see kids exploited, or women involuntarily trafficked, and that's why the cops use those boogeymen to attack mongering in general, which in my experience has always been two or more adults agreeing (usually for different reasons) to fuck each other for cash.

The pedophilia charge is just leverage. If you think you could win damages against LE or the media for libel because they charged you with pedophilia (or even, like here, just implied it) when you were in fact guilty of soliciting a prostitute, well, good luck with that.
Besides, in this case, the police told the radio station two things: 1) they were looking for pedophiles; 2) they caught 16 guys. It was the radio station that concluded they caught 16 pedophiles. But if you look at the actual charges listed, these guys haven't been charged with anything but "trafficking a person for a commercial sex act," which is what every one of us on this board is technically guilty of, not soliciting sex from a minor or anything like that.
It's ok with me if you want to trust the police to play fairly; it's you who'll be surprised when the hammer falls. I'm just trying to give you a heads up. But believe whatever you want! I still hope you stay safe!

Men that want under age girls is what makes this hobby more difficult for the rest of us. So many red flags there, you'd think the commies are invading. If there's even one more person than you expect in the room, that's when you bounce out.

As soon as I walk into the room she wants to do LE check, then she ask for donation, I haven't been in the room 20 seconds yet, 2 red flags, instead of giving her the donation I ask to use the bathroom that the door is shut on. She said oh you want to go in the bathroom. I walked in the bathroom and I could see a dark shadow standing behind the shower curtain, LOL. I walked to the door and told her I was leaving, someone is in the shower, she said no there isn't. I left better to be safe than sorry. I don't know if it was a man or woman, but the fact that they was trying to hide made me uncomfortable. I have on a few occasions saw a provider with her roommate hanging out in the bathroom, or even like the original Anna that is being discussed, her boyfriend is always there, he doesn't try to hide and talks to me, he looks rough and I think she would be way better with out him but he has never caused any issues. You just have to use common sense to protect yourself. She may be great and if someone on here has seen her and knows she is good to go, let us know, I just had to go with my gut feeling.

If it a provider that I know and trust. Like years or several visits are in the past, I don't mind an in call.
But if it is someone new, it is always outcall. You are in control of the whole situation. BTW, always go with your gut feelings.

This is going to' be a big deal .
The short story is Michigan will intact legislation to make Hotels responsible if there is.
Prostitution on their property. The state will force the hotels to train employees to.
"look" for signs of prostitution (and maybe reward them as "whistle blowers") .
Other states will follow promptly.
