Just a heads up for those of you still cruising the streets, especially in the South End:

There is a tan Lincoln Navigator that is pretending they are L. E, complete with headlights that flash quickly on and off (this isn't someone turning their highbeams quickly on and off, this was a professional hack job, and a bad one at that). It's a newer model, I'd say 2008/2009 or so, with tints all around, including the drivers side and front passenger windows.

I heard from a few girls I keep in contact with that he picks them up, threatens them with jail, and lets them out with a warning. Last night when heading home from Monday Night Football, I saw this guy in action. After an hour or so, he must've realized he was being watched when he tried to turn the tables on me and "pull me over". After he realized I wasn't falling for his fake flashing headlights, he followed me for quite a while. However, he wasn't smart enough to realize it was a test to see how far he would take it. Once he realized he was on a wild goose chase, he pulled into a parking lot, and then decided to probably call it a night.

Just a word of warning, if you don't see the blue and reds, or don't feel safe, don't stop, just head to a populated area or even to the police department. Hopefully nobody has been harrassed by this guy.

That's certainly a new one. Too bad you didn't get plates and call it in somehow, impersonation of this nature big time felony I believe. Wonder if he was trying to extort the girls too or was just getting his kicks being a jerk.

Drove through South, Downtown, up to North, back down to South. South first time was too early, maybe 8. Second time, maybe 9, certainly saw three HSW on Wethersfield, across Colt Park.

I don't know any names yet, but one was 5'6" or taller, thick but not fat, half hispanic, half white maybe, slick greasy black hair. Definitely on the mature / experienced side, and definitely a load mouth, but was just standing still on corner of Wethers and Annawan. Way too obvious for me! Like others I have been having a hard time finding any decent S / W's in the Big City. Either there are none or the ones out their are bad. Drove around tonight and saw alot of LEO. Not only did I not see "1" S / W, I don't even think I saw a female walking anywhere. The streets were dead, not even much LE around except on one street they had blocked. I'm glad you are having luck.

I agree tiger I work in hartford and go up and down the main streets and have not seen much of anything. I work during the day out of hartford by 3 pm.
