The "emotional need" they profess to fill is nothing but a con. Sure, it's possible for anybody to be conned, but it's a really dumb move for a stripper to fall for a pimp's manipulations, no matter how smart she may be. (God, I can't believe I'm having to explain this. LOL.)

They actually were the men in the women's lives. They were the managers, father figures, as well as the only ones who didn't judge them like society does. And juggling multiple women all with different personalities is like taking care of a bunch of prideful egotistical teenage girls. That's not as easy as you think. I've seen some of the top notch pimps to the wannabe low budget con artist that your talking about. Trust and believe me we should be thanking the pimps for being the ones to put some of these young and fine "legal" tenders out here for alot of you to enjoy. Now all pimps didn't learn proper game etiquette so there are just some useless leaches out there.

I'm in sales, business development, etc. Whatever you want to call it. I have grown men and women that work for me and I get a taste of everything they sell. In return I deal with their shit. It is like taking care of a bunch of teenagers. I earn my slice. It isn't easy. Pimping isn't easy either. It isn't that different than many forms of sales management.

And before anyone tells me I'm probably already patronizing strippers who have pimps, yeah, I know that's possible. It's happened before. And just about every time I've found that to be the case, it's been a girl I had come to write off anyway for being too lame, impersonal, mercenary or all around disturbing to be with. To each his own.

I also believe that Follies management would do well to tell the pimps no thanks to taking up space in the club that could be used by customers buying lap dances instead of coming around to shake their hands. It seems to me that more money to the dancers and less taken from them would attract better dancers and bring more spending customers into the club. But what do I know? If it made sense, L1l Wayne would have rapped it by now.

I thought this discussion was about pimps that don't acutally sit in the club (hence the the discussion about what value or service they are adding).

Either the pimps have become more common or I've just learned to spot them better. Sometimes, it's hard to tell them from the drug dealers. LOL They usually hang out up by the pool table. But on some days they take up stools along a wall, a lower table, or just stand around the VIP, the bar, etc. Other strippers have pointed them out to me, and I've noticed a regular stream of "their girls" reporting to them. Of course, they never seem to buy any dances.

Does anyone know anything about the blonde bartender at the Doll House? I saw her there the other day around 2 pm. WOW she was pretty along with a smoking body. I wonder if she dances or has one on one sessions with customers.

This "Pimp" thread has probably run it's course. I am merely informing some of the guys about the one of the reasons that some of the girls are overly aggressive in the strip clubs these days. I won't debate on how you spin or relate pimping to being a a manager or CEO, but I think your analogy is off because of the brutality involved. You mentioned teenagers, those are prime targets for pimps. Strip clubs are easy targets because something happened for that girl to have to get naked and simulate and perform sex acts for 8 hour shifts everyday. Guys please don't take any of my comments as personal attacks, because they are not meant to cause a battle. By the way I still can't get my new 'FRIEND" at Shooters to have sex with me. I can't believe I have let myself be that guy!

The only type of pimp I know is one who manipulates women for his own gain and doesn't give a shit about her or what happens to her. Managers? Father figures? Certainly not in the true sense. I doubt anyone on the southside of Chicago has a clue what the word father means.

I was just telling you what I seen growing up where I'm from. I most certainly said that "not all pimps were good ones". I'm ok with you not agreeing with what I said. Thanks man. I already know what kind of guy he is, and I remember him getting exposed a few times, but I still try and give someone general respect. We're all in the same game but some people play differently I guess. I only come to the board for the women, but every now and then you get Internet thugs who need a DAMM hug.
