Great question, OCAmper. He PM'd me for info. I have no problem sharing with experienced folks or with newbies that seem to know what they are doing. But this guys approach is odd to say the least.

I would say, based on what I've read here and other places over the years, the typical result is that LE is not interested in the customers and are just let go.
I think a lot of it is the focus of the investigation/bust. Some of these busts are "organized crime" and involve ICE and IRS and others. Those probably aren't interested in the customer. One that comes to mind is Kim Mao, the one that took down several MPs where the owner had a motocross track. The focus was seizing the Millions of dollars in property.
Looking at the press photos of the bust at AC6, they seemed to imply that the customer got arrested. At the very least, he was in hand-cuffs for a short bit. So maybe this guy had a totally different experience.

Of course, one other influencing factor is the political leaders and their agenda. Local cities might want to make an example of the customer.

Then, there was the MP in La Habra or Whittier a couple of years ago that staged a sting. The therapists were actually Sheriff deputies and they rounded up each customer that they were able to hook.

Bottom line, they can find a reason to arrest you. LE needs to build the case to present to the DA. It is up to the District Attorney to take it any further. If the DA thinks they can get you to plea to something, then they probably will. If there is nothing holding you from going to trial, then they'd probably just drop it.

This place is owned by a guy who at one time owned LFBC but because of legal issues took LFBC out of his name and put it into his wife's name, or so the story goes.
