Traveling lady Hot Alyse visits Nashville on 8-26-14. No personal experience, but reviews seem consistently good.
She seems to look like the fake pictures we see all the time, but she's real (well, except for her man-mades, which appear to be nicer than usual).

I don't know what horror stories you read about verification services, but in my experience, they do not apply to P411 (or from what I have heard, Date Check either). The amount of personal info required to sign up was actually pretty minimal, and I have had ladies who don't use the service ask for more. Plus, they are based in Canada, and it is a little comfort to know that whatever info they collected is stored outside this country's jurisdiction, and would at least present some obstacles for LE down here to try to access (not likely for run of the mill mongering activities).
Balance that against the benefits of having a ready source of info on the ladies, and an easy place for them to access references to verify me, and the decision is a no brainer. I have used contacts made through P411 for multiple hours of pleasure with a good number of attractive, sexy and reliable ladies over the last few years, and have never had any issues with P411 or with the ladies I have contacted that way. And, FYI, you can find some newbie-friendly ladies on there, that you can use to build up some of those references you need to establish yourself in the hobby. The service is especially helpful when you're traveling to a new city or want to see someone who just comes through town from time to time. It's not perfect and doesn't replace doing your homework (reading reviews, following the boards, and generally trusting your instincts, but it is a good starting point.
IMHO, some kind of verification is important for the safety of both parties to these encounters we all enjoy, and one of the reputable services is a pretty painless way to help both the ladies and the mongers feel more comfortable before they see someone for the first time. If you prefer to just "roll the dice with CGs," have at it, but especially if you are shopping off someplace like BP, it is really more like Russian roulette. Its just a matter of time before you make a mistake that you will seriously regret.
Whatever risks there may be from joining a verification site are minimal in my book, and are far outweighed by the benefits they offer. Just my two cents.

I have not had to be verified in about 8 years but had to start somewhere. I used P411 for a while. You will never see the quality providers without getting verified with someone. If you keep rolling the dice your going to come up a loser sooner or later.

As I'm sure you can tell, and I guess the same for most of us, giving out personal info to anyone for this purpose just concerns me greatly. Don't want my name to end up on some list somewhere! You might not have been asked for any personal info, but if your references have been checked, or your posting history searched, the new ladies you have visited over those years have verified you somehow, at least the smart ones have. Its just that the Blackhawk name is instant verification, like having a Good Mongering seal of approval stamped on your forehead, LOL. It's going to take the newbie OP (and most of the rest of us too for that matter) a while to achieve that instant verification recognition status. It is rarified air you breathe, sir, but if you still seek out the fresh experiences, they will find their ways to assure themselves you are no faux hawk and you will be verified again, however they choose to do it. Just like you do to verify that they are the real deal. Only way to avoid it is to keep seeing the same providers again and again, which is not a bad thing -- we've got some good ones around. But most of us in this hobby crave variety, and are always looking for something new, or at least I am.

I was also very concerned about giving up employment info and my name to a provider when I started in December. But hey, no risk, no reward. After that, I gave an escort agency the same info, plus that one ref. Then I signed up with p411 and got verified there with a few OKs. It was a pain in the ars, but it's been gravy from there. Of course, like BH was saying, we need to screen too. I've taken a pass on some that had no reviews or none recently. And the way Nashville is right now, there is no way I'd see any girl who only has an ad on BP. Way too risky! I guess having fun in the hobby here is about calculated risks. But all I can tell you is my experience.
I now trust only a few people (see Pbj's post) & ladies in Nashville. This hobby has become a risky business here.

I've had my share of rejections when I have had providers ask for more than I was willing to give. I had one lady from Texas who refused to trust p411 and only took ok's from provides who toured! For what I'm looking for (a little variety 5-6 times a year) I think flying to LV will be worth it for me. Great discussion, it's good to hear everyone's perspective.

Providers come to Toronto from all over the world. Had a great time there last year.
