I made it a point to visit 2 MD CCondo providers who were living there. One visit was strictly social. I met the other at her new place of employment. A MP with a somewhat reduced menu that was busy as hell. We had a small space with a drawn curtain. There was a kind of privacy in that you couldn't hear us over the noise that everyone else was making. She probably would have extended the menu but I'll just say that the timing of my visit was bad and leave it at that. When I asked her about a possible return to MD she would have none of it. She like where she worked. My take was that she made enough money and was OK with her life there (friends, living quarters, etc.). She seemed happy. I could see where she was coming from. It seemed that every Asian culture calls Flushing home. There's a level of comfort there if you can make enough $$ to live. If you don't have that it can be unbearable.

I had very similar experience at this place 4 months ago, I left swearing I would never go back. As I was leaving the old lady kept begging me to return when the younger girls were back.
