My favorite place was a Hawaiian Hamburger place called Kua Aina in Shibuya (Tokyo). A large beer (32oz) , a Coke and 2 burgers went about $65. 00.
Yea, you don't want to be poor in Japan. When I lived there, my company gave me free rent / utilities and an additional $200 per day because of the cost of living there.
