I went to LFBC yesterday,for my first AMP experience, and those are some of the nicest people I have ever met. When I got home, I searched this board and found way too much on LFBC. Then I went to one of the sites advertised here and paid the 20 bucks and found even more graphic details.
I mean, why on earth would you guys do these detailed reports? Do you actually think the girls want there info out there? I under stand that the cops can't use this site as evidence, but let's say you write a review that goes like "I went to massage parlor 'a' and saw therapist 'b' and she provided me with so and so services" now, can't the cops see that and go to that place and ask for that girl and get those services? Sure, the scenario you mention could happen.
Each business must have a business license. Typically, licenses for massage and some other categories goes to the Chief of Police. So, LE already has a list.
I don't know the statistics, but some of the busts are focused solely on a single parlor, such as Vicks in LosAl. In their case, they just got run out of the city.
Others, there is a deep investigation to find ownership and take down all their parlors and seize the assets, which happened to that lady that had the motorcycle tracks and other stuff. Her name just escapes me right now.
I recall, during one of those mega busts, I think when they ran all of the MPs out of Inglewood, they got parlors that didn't get any mention in the forums or review sites.
To me, that shows that being mentioned here or anywhere else just doesn't make a difference.
For example, AMPs operated in Inglewood for more than 10 years, got mentioned on these boards every day. Nothing ever happened until all hell broke loose when some Inglewoods finest decided they needed pussy as well.
Bottom line, we can't know what will trigger a sting operation every time. We can't know what will cause a deep investigation every time.
What we do know, is sometime in the future, there will be busts. When there is, the parlors will just move to yet another city.
As far as the girls go, I think typically they need to pay a small fine, informal probation and probably AIDS testing and some other minor stuff. Not quite the life changing event as one might think.

As a long time member, I've seen this discussion at least a 100 times. Give it a rest! If a place gets busted, there will always be another to take it's place.

I'm sure the PoPo uses this site, and other review sites to get an idea of which places are offering additional services. They would be dumb not to. They cannot rely solely on complaints from the area businesss and residents surrounding these places. I hate to admit, but I do have an ATF I've never discussed because I am afraid of putting that info out there and it affecting the shop, and this shop has never been mentioned on this board, however every single other one that I know of, have been listed here at some point in time. Bottom line: We certainly are disclosing information that would be otherwise tough to locate. That type of convenience, is the reason for this board. There are so many shops and girls, and we hand it all on a sliver platter right here. While they don't use our information to prosecute, they use it to get an idea of where to focus. If you were a cop in charge of your dept's unit handling this area of things, where would you start? Of course, the internet is your first source. You're not just randomly sending undercovers to each shop and each girl. That is why some discretion and PM's can be useful. PM's certainly limit who is reading what, and you have the option to determine if you want to provide what info to what person.
