Went out for a short cruise this afternoon, didn't think I would see anyone, but was surprised to see Bella south of Busch. Another monger attempted a pick, but she waved him off. Scooped her up, she was really happy to see me. Said the other monger was really rude.

(I lied and told her I didn't have my license on me).

I decided after the drop off that I am not going to see her again. She is going down fast, and I don't want to be part of the fall.

I was cruising, and saw an uber hottie. Along that section of mongering street, there was a parallel alleyway just half a block away from the main drag. So when you went by someone interesting, the discreet way to loop was to do a loop using the alley. So I turn right, then right again, and was heading down the alley.

All of a sudden, a beat up old car came out of a driveway right in front of me. I slam on the brakes, and just lightly ended up just bumping the side of the other car. Didn't hurt my bumper in the least, but put a bit of a crease in the fender of the beater. A scraggly looking young dude jumped out, said "oh man! I am so sorry, it's all my fault!" I looked at the damage, and said "hey, it is no big deal, my bumper isn't even scratched, your car is the one that is hurt".

Right then, an old beat up pickup truck came screetching up the alley towards us and stopped. I looked at the truck as an old guy jumped out, really scraggly looking, wearing kind of a cowboy vest look. The old guy goes "what's going on?" The young guy goes "I pulled out in front of him, just a slight amount of damage to this car, but his car is OK" Then the old guy says "Hey, we are really sorry about this", and whips out a badge and says, "we are SD vice". I play dumb and say "vice?, there's no drugs in this area! The old guy says "no, we are on prostitution detail".

I ended up shooting the shit with them for about 20 minutes or so. They told me all about their sting methods. They rotated between using rental cars, personal vehicles, and impound vehicles. They detailed all the different kinds of johns. Tonights detail was "scruffy john" detail, using impound vehicles and not shaving for several days. They also said "for some odd reason, there is an urban legend that 'vice nights' are Tuesdays and / or Thursdays, so we usually avoid those days and only run stings on the other days of the week".

The old dude gave me his card, he was the head of the vice squad. Told me to take a look at my bumper in daylight and if there was any damage to call him. They were really nice guys.
