Nothing Like a Little Sting To Put the Scare in "One".
Read the Rhode Island law:

As has been pointed out here before, there is no language equal to "Frequenting a Baudy Place". From a lawyer member of this forum:
Think about it. If there were a "baudy" law then the strip clubs in RI would have shut down overnight given what was supposedly happening in the clubs as nobody would/could enter as it would mean immediate arrest. Now, do I just run out and visit RI the way I used to before Nov. 3. No I don't. Like everybody else, I don't want my name in the papers as a "suspect" as even when I'm proven innocent, the paper never publishes that. Now, are the spas safe?. Apparently safer than CL for now but TBH, I'm a little surprised that the RISP chose this route instead of its first bust being a highly publicized raid of a spa. Mind you, it could just be a waiting game. We all know the spas are hurting due to a dramatic decline in business and it is probably only a matter of time before some of them just can't stay open any longer. So maybe LE is just letting this happen and then will go "clean out" the survivors. In the meantime, they have a report to file in January so they have to stage these stupid CL stings to look important.
So, bottom line is that the spas are a gamble, a risk some are obviously willing to take (my hat is off to you) but I think that even though you have to be caught in the act, you will still be in for a major hassle if, indeed, there is a raid and you are there.
The recent news of this sting will just "ice" many until "something" else happens. Namely the first AMP bust. It is a catch 22. You dam'd if you do and if you don't. On the other hand many will think if I don't at least I know I won't get nailed by the fuzz for the whole world to know.
3 of Providence "Finest" Shot Doing Real Police Work........
Note the recent raids were Rhode Island State Police Action.
It is not certain, but State Police are less likely to be out and conducting investigations in Providence. (Too likely to step on some brother officer's friends). State Police tend to stay away from larger cities that have their own detective squads so, I suspect, Providence will be off the State Police radar for the present.
Additionally, 3 Providence detectives were shot and injured in the line of duty today. That means their effective presence is reduced by at least 30%, and they will be distracted for the foreseeable future reigning down terror on anyone remotely connected to the shooting of those detectives.
I would suggest that Providence will not be a hot bed of LEO activity around the hobby for at least the next 3-6 months.
Be good.
Sorry to read about 3 cops getting shot during a raid of a drug dealer. The story tells you where there are more public safety concerns.
Then again if I were a cop I probably wouldn't get shot if "Chief O' Hara" asks me to bust an AMP vs raid a drug dealers house ,but that is not the obvious issue here.
Can't you sleep better knowing the streets are safer after "Pat" and Others' got busted from that recent sting while there are those like that "cancer" out there selling drugs out of his ill handicapped mom's home.
