I live and work nearby. I am thru there several times a week, at all times of day. I have played there more than a few times in the past. Here's the scoop on Ponce:

For a couple of blocks east & west of the intersection of Ponce & Boulvard / Monroe, you can almost always find skanky FEMALE W & BSWs. They often stay at the Ponce Hotel, and score drugs at those apartments by the Taco Bell. If you see a nice looking lady in that area, she's most likely a sting.

Further west on Ponce, around Piedmont, you may find an occadional skanky female, but if she's halfway decent looking at all, chances are she's a tranny. The best way to spot trannies.
