There is strength in numbers and having a united front can prevent these increased rates. Some of these girls do this because they want to work less and make more.

Another consequence of the new rates may mean a reduction or disappearance of tipping. In those cases the gal is the biggest loser since tips traditionally have not been shared with agents or bookers. It is the latter who will benefit most. There's an old saying that when the gods wish to punish us they give us what we ask for.

As a pro in economics here my takes.

Let's assume that chloe and rec know they are popular so they want to raise their price enable to milk us. It's a smart move to test their value. Along the road, they will hit their break even point which means they can't get over a certain budget that was set.

So I agree to stop seeing them so they won't hit that budget then they will lower their price. But that is a JERK's move. I hate it. But I'm fine with it since I'm a monger.

Pay what you are comfortable in paying and find someone else if it's not to your liking but to some on this board $350 + tip is still a relative bargain. For me personally, I would rather spend more to see a girl that's got less customers at $350-500 than a girl that's getting plowed 10 x a day because she's $250.

And it really shouldn't be surprising, because this is the same industry where some employees making $250 K plus per year, with minimal tax payments if at all, find themselves at the end of the year with barely $5 K under their mattress and no idea where it went.

Multiple women have remarked how slow things have been for the last quarter. Some may just be raising fees to try to keep their income levels the same. I don't know about the rest.
