I'm sure someone is paying hundreds of dollars for a photo shoot, just to get $35. The other easiest way to tell is when they use celebrities, pornstars, pics from other providers, etc. Get past those two steps, and you're now looking for pictures not matching up. If it's 1 body in 1 pic, 1 in another, then at least some pics are fake. From there, if still interested and undecided, there's the search method.
I can go on BP Columbia and see that the majority of the pics are fake now. The ones I'm not sure about, I dig into deeper and they're usually fake too. There's a lot of ways to find out who is responsible for the ads. I won't post it all because anyone can see what I say but internet savvy people know what to do. Just yesterday I looked into 2 ads. One was clearly being posted by a gangmember who is pimping his girlfriend (I believe). The other came from a not so good place.

And as you said in your rules below, if the girl you meet isn't the one in the photos, walk away. Another rule might be to do some screening over the phone. If there's no chemistry over the phone, then there won't be any in person.
