One of the cornerstones of the prosecution was to establish evidence of racketeering and conspiracy. One of the cornerstones of the prosecution was to establish evidence of racketeering and conspiracy. Because one of the providers routinely hosted Meet and Greets, that became the eventual basis for the charges. From there it got ugly with confidential informants and folks ratting each other out to save their skin. Much of that failed though due to the transparency of the legal system. Several friends of mine (men and women) were rolled up as a result.

I did attend a Meet and Greet put together by one of the guys. Beer and Wings at Hooters. As the evening progressed several girls joined us. Customer development. Later one of those girls became a principal in the investigation. Because the coordination was done through the open TBD Board, everyone became a "person of interest" (Including yours truly). And that became just another data point on the overall investigation.

He was doing great as long as he stayed under the radar, but when he brought attention to himself they focused on him and took him down. If you want to do this, keep it small, keep it with people you or the girls know. Stick with girls you already know, preferably once without a substance abuse issue. Never organize, never collect dues etc, just a group of friends out for some adult beverages. And I definlitly would hesitate inviting any of the girls to my home, if I have anything there to lose. Although many of them are just as good as you and me, possibly better than me, many have some very bad friends who if they heard what you have at your home, would not hesitate to swing by and relieve you of the burden of caring for said things.

All that being said, it does sound like a blast, a bachelor party on steroids.
