Longtime lurker, finally took the plunge and took a trip out to Tualatin on a Friday afternoon. Requested the hour massage, had to wait 15-20 minutes and then a fit 40's-ish woman came in, short skirt and tank top. For better or worse, sometimes experience is the best teacher. A few months in, and I have learned tipping at the front of house isn't required and has no effect on possible outcomes.

When seeking out an instructor for French lessons, do you find most are prepared should the situation become more formal? Or do you always bring your own bow tie?
