A lot of the girls on CL don't list their price which is annoying. If they started talking about specific acts, you were wise to avoid them. I would also check other sites to see if they are reviewed. If they are showing some skin in their ads, chances are they are more legit but I would avoid them. There are too many out there to choose from.

From what I have seen or read when the LEO does a sting on CL they are usually using some type of bait that is out of the ordinary like barely teenage girl or in this case twins. The fact that they are asking questions and quoting prices is either a real stupid provider or a definate sting. Whenever I call anyone all I ever say is "tell me about your service". That way if anything is said out of the ordinary I didn't actually ask anything specific to initiate it.
Just a thought, but as Deere said, there are enough providers reviewed on either here or TER, or even using someone off of Roomservice 2000 is better than getting popped and paying at the very least $500 for a lawyer.

TER has a policy that if a provider gets a negative review, at least one other person must report a similar experience or they don't post them. I know from experience, as last year I got ripped off by a "visiting" provider who agreed to a price, then when I got there, took the money and refused to do anything more than give me some "manual action" unless I shelled out a lot more money. I wrote a bad review of her to post on TER to warn others and because nobody else reported a similar scam, mine was killed off. As far as I know the b**ch is still out there upselling scamming poor unsuspecting sods.
Their policy, the guys who depend on the site just have to remember that bit of trivia.

Reviews disappear all the time, though, and I think providers can make it happen if they complain. At least one provider I used to keep my eye on has gotten several to "disappear" -- the ones that mentioned services beyond what she advertises. Maybe she doesn't want to let on that FS is available for legal reasons, or because not everyone always gets it. Either way, it makes TER a tricky read.

I quite trying to figure out how TER operates it's review screening process after what happened to me. I just take them as yet another source of opinions on providers, just like I regard what's said here, one more data point to make a decision on.

Guys, I am NOT a shill for TER, but this is the first I have heard of such a policy...
That being said, TER does have a policy that if nothing sexual happened, then you cannot submit a review. So basically if you get completely ripped off, girl takes your money and does nothing, you cannot write a review saying that. If you try, it will get rejected. In this situation, the only thing you can do is write about it on their Forums, and try to "out" the girl that way.
If something sexual does happen, but you just plain hated it, I don't think such a review would get blocked... I've written many bad/mediocre reviews on TER over the years, although I guess they may have changed their policies recently.

On TER, providers can't complain about receiving a low rating, but they can complain if the review specifies services that the providers claims she doesn't offer. If she can point to her own website that lists her services, then she can get TER to remove a review that describes more.
Even if the review is true and the provider is lying, TER will believe the provider in this case.
Finally, a provider can tell TER to remove ALL of her reviews - good and bad - if she is publicity-shy. Notice for example there are no reviews of crazy tantra Diana, even though I wrote one many years ago.

Actually, as the title says, I was told that by the folks who run the TER site when I asked them what had happened to my post. I also told them that all I got from the provider in question (who collect $$$ from me before anything happened) gave me a half-assed HJ before closing off everything when I refused to leave the room and get her the extra money she wanted to charge me. So, yes, sexual activity had taken place, though far from satisfactory to me. In honesty, looking back, I think if I'd left to get the money, I'd have come back to a locked door and gotten nothing more, as she was also asking me to find some 'covers', as she was supposedly out (or had packed them into her car, she told two different stories to me on that one). TER will pull the review. I had a review pulled because the provider didn't like I gave her a 6 in performance. She went on the discussion board and claimed I was low balling her. Like I had anything to gain One of the worse complainer on that board is/was Sage. If a providered complained Sage was always there ripping the guy apart.

I wrote a negative review and it wasn't removed. The girl sent me messages via the site threatening to sue me for defamation, which I found quite funny, but nothing's been removed.
I've had one rejected because I made a negative remark, but that's the extent of it. I found the rejection odd because I didn't say anything cruel, I just stated the facts; the service was pretty poor. My guess is that the site owner at the time may have been nailing the girl and he didn't want her to have any negative press. Just my theory, but I could be wrong.

Fully 2/3 - 3/4 of the ads that appear in ANY dating catrgory (W4M, CE) are spam. The new "adult" category is a little better than the old autolist one, but it's still bad and the bad ads are harder to detect. A significant amount are sucker ads. When you call that number, it's connected to someone's Skype account hooked up to a computer that logs all the numbers that call. They collect huge lists of numbers and sell them to unscrupulous telemarketers, scammers, jerkwad "collection agencies" who run skip traces looking for old out-of-statute debt, buy it for pennies on the dollar and then try to strongarm you into giving them money, etc. If you respond via e-mail, you end up on e-mail spam lists.
That ad and your experience sounds to me like a sucker ad. If you start getting telemarketing or other weird calls, that's why.
If you must use CL, use your common sense. Just because she says "pic is real" don't believe it if it looks too good to be true! Stick to the ones you know or at least avoid the ones where your big head says "seems fishy" but your little head says "come on it's fine!"
Ters guidlines for having reviews accepted seems totally arbitrary. I had many reviews rejected over the years, some I redid a number of times and still had them kicked back. I don't know if the person reviewing my review dien't like me, didn't like the girl, or was trying to protect the girl, but the process was a real pain in the ass. Really puts TER's reliability into question.
I too have put in a few reviews with TER and none ever got posted. The few that I posted were negative and not sure if they are trying to keep most of the reviews on their site good. Either way, it is a crap shoot if you are going with TER, because any provider even if she does have stellar reviews can just not be into it. I have to agree with previous posters opinions regarding value, although limited, of TER. While there are no guarantees a pattern of reviews is probably as good a general indicator as you can hope for on the net. If you don't have a full membership you cannot search the site to see if a reviewer has a history. However, if you Google the reviewer's name with 's attached (I. E. "xxxxxxx's") a list of other reviews often appears.
