Last Friday I went to the old place. I thought I would give it a shot. Oh Boy! Guys, let me say this. Damn! I don't know what people are talking about but the old homestead has won me back. There was a woman who was not there when I used to go. She was goooood! The place did not feel like it was being watched and everything seemed cool. If they are all like her, I will be back. The crowd looked like they were waiting for her.

I don't miss Angel so much if that woman is a regular. As far as I could tell, everything was fine and yes there are signs posted about cameras.

My lady and I went to the book store last night around 1030 pm. I was hoping that the so called " Wolf Pack" would be gone, and for the most part they were. The crowd of 15-20 guys were well mannered and respectful BUT there is always 1-2 RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, PUKES that dont learn there lession. Guys Im going to tell you something if you see a new couple in the back video area going into a booth you DONT have to swarm the booth and most of all bump into the ladies husband. If the lady wants you to participate they will ASK YOU! Trust me all your doing is creeping out every new lady that comes in there with even the thought of doing something "Crazy".
This is the second time we have been in there were I have been Bumped into I nicely asked the puke to back up and he told me if I didnt like it shut the door! After I gave him an invitation to talk more outside he conveniently went deaf and couldnt turn and look at me. The point of this is show some respect to couples that come in there, then maybe we all can have the fun we were looking for!
The price for a couple, for the theater and booths was 10 bucks, as far as nudity in the theater nothing has changed and yes there are still the peep holes in the back booths.

Until recently it had been months since I went to the ABS due to work, travel and to be honest all the bs that has been floating around about the place. I was in the area and curiousity got the best of me so I decided to drop by. Usually I won't go near the place unless I see it posted that someone I want to see is going to be there. I noticed the parking lot was pretty empty, but figured I was there to check the place out more than to play so decided to go in anyway. As noted the GHs are open and there are now signs posted throughout the theater and booth area forbiding cameras. When I first started going to the ABS they had similar signs but they disappeared some time ago and all of a sudden everyone in the place seemed to have a camera snapping away. Personally I'm glad to see the signs back. Hopefully the rule will be enforced. I respect others right to "do their thing" including photography, but also feel I have a right to do my thing without having to be worried someone is going to post pics or vids of it on the net. In the end my curiousity was satisfied about the changes, but otherwise it was a waste of time and money. There were only about 6-8 people in the place for the whole 2 hours or so I was there, all male of course. I have been there enough to be well aware of the hit or miss aspect of the place, but this was the deadest I have ever seen it. Not only was it a sausage fest but a poorly attended sausagefest at that. It was pretty sad considering the memories I have of the good times I have had there. Hopefully the place will get back to the way it was in the past with a good size group of ladies coming fairly regularly.

Something just ain't right at the playhouse. I got there at 8pm sharp. Nothing but about 15 guys. There was a sign at the counter mentioning the 3 play, spa, party room and theater for 40 bucks. Theater and glory holes still 20. I started with the 20 buck option. Again, the people that work there are very professional, no pressure to talk you in to the 40 bucks. Of course I am there for female action and here is how the evening played out. The first couple to come in was some obnoxious drunks and I mean drunk. They were moving from the booths to the theater a couple of times but did nothing but talk in their drunken stupper, sorry for the blatant honesty but that is the truth. I can't believe they drove there. At about 8:30 an attractive couple came in, she was classy and cute with short dark hair and a decent bod. They went straight to the spa, a couple guys I spoke with that paid for the spa said they were not playing, just messing around by themselves. Then at about 9:15 an older Filipino couple came in. They started in the theater for a few minutes, no action and then went to the glory holes, they basically went in the middle booth with holes on both sides but basically just stood there and did not play at all. A heavier set black lady came in with a skinny guy, they went to the party room and as of 10pm they were not doing anything. Right when I was leaving sheeba, her hubby and rogue drove up and backed up to the party room to unload supplies for tomorrows party. I left at that time so I don't know what went on after 10: 15 but for a Friday night it was absolutely dead and for such a nice night and holloween to boot, I would have thought the action would have been good if not great. What blows my mind is the lack of females and couples because the place is very playable. The owners are not running around watching like a hawk, they are very cool. The playroom behind the screen is relatively large and like I said before, it has a swing and two gynee tables. What happened, this place has completely lost its mojo. During the summer on a Friday you would have 20+ couples and a bunch of single ladies playing. I was there during the summer and you would have action all over the place. One of the better Friday's, femcar, nancy, honey and a nice hispanic lady all playing on or near the couch at the same time. It was wild, where did all the action go. I don't buy it's the cops, why, because of the attitude of those working there, they are very laid back and not much has changed in how things are run. Very, Very disappointing for a Friday. The owners have their work cut out to get the action flowing again. I think they are up to the task but it is going to take time. I hope someone reports on the party sheeba and hubby are throwing tomorrow, it should be much better. Someone please report.

We had between 110-130 people in attendance and in that we had 28-32 couples and 12 single females, we also had Misty Highwood who is a AM Internet Porn gal in attendance who absolutely loves to fuck and suck. We had two tables set up with food and snacks for all which included a Chocolate buffet with Chocolate fountains, Chicken wings, and more lots more. Beer, Wine, soda and water on hand as well as harder stuff for pay otherwise it was also BYOB as well. There was music and some dancing till the action started, which was relatively early in the eve. Around 9:30ish, with several gals on the stage getting fucked or eaten. The glory hole booths was also used by several couples as well as the theater and the new room in back of the theater where the exam table and massage table and sex swing are. The party went till 2am and sex didn’t stop till closing. We didn’t have the same crowd as the last Meet & Greet as many were out of town and informed me that they would be (more couples) and I also believe because of the speculation (crap) that has been flowing through the Y-Groups in the last month and a half as well as here. Never the less, it was great fun and a decent turn out in spite of the speculations. Those who attended (well at least the many that came up to me and talked with me) loved it! Sheba had great fun all weekend long but especially at the party. Stay tuned for the next one as I’m sure it will be even better as people realize that our venue there at Melrose hasn’t changed much as some of the nay sayers want people to believe.

I suspect these parties are now geared towards swinging couples. At swing couples parties only a small number of single males are admitted.

You have to be careful mentioning the money. Some guys in here go bonkers over that issue when its raised. But it does bring home the point that single men are not wanted. They never have been. Only a select few get to play. The rest are called verizon zombies. While I'm sure some deserve it, not all of the guys standing around deserved to be lumped in that category. They might as well make this place a couples place. But then how will they pay the bills without the single guys who show up daily?

I think the problems at Melrose all come down to price the owner just got greedy. When the place opened it was $15 for single males, single women & couples were free now it's $20 for single males & $10 for couples and single men who dress womens clothing. I can guarantee you the $10 has kept alot of couples away you bring a girl to get gangbanged then have to pay $10 that makes no sense at all. Plus they have all these upcharges for the spa, rooms, etc. or if they have a party with beer, pizza, & wings they want to charge another $20. Price is just a total mystery at 15th Ave. they need to come up with one set price for total access like $25 single males & single males dressed in womens clothing, single women and couples are free.

Prices has not changed and unless my costs go up will not change, This last party cost me a mint especially for the chocolate for the chocolate fountains lol oh and the steak and shrimp skewers not to mention the Vip Bar and table wow lol but all in all was a great nigh to fun and all my exp. got covered with $150 to the plus which I will put towards the next party!!! This time I have a Chef of many years making the Food and several other extras too for all to enjoy.

Thats the way it has to be. The prices didn't go up much and most don't complain about it. As far as the Parties that are hosted there. Some are done by melrose and some are done by private groups such as Our ATS Meet & Greets or even the Gentlemans pages parties and more, which they rent out the party room and spa, Their prices are their own to set as they have to cover the cost of the room rental and more and Melrose does not dictate those prices. The prices are not a "total mystery" as the last year so far it went from $20 single male, Couples & single women free and TV/CD $10 to Couples paying $10 and all else remains the same for the theater/arcade The spa prices changed once in the last year (acceptable since it was a new thing) Melrose party prices are up to them and private party prices are set by those private groups and usually based on overall expense. Seems like some simply want it all free LOL. I suppose most don't realize what it takes to run a business for profit, with staffing and building lease, utilities, product etc. Hey Melrose is still the best place going for the venue we want & the prices are what it is! The great part of being in the USA is You can Choose Not To Go! You Don't have to spend your money there! And even if you go, You don't have to go to the spa, You don't have to attend the (private or melrose) parties as well! I suppose some will sleep better knowing that they got to "*****" about something that they really have no control over nor that they can change LOL. I remember when gas prices were. 62 cents and now we've seen it over $3. 80 and the fact is no one likes it but they still go fill their tanks LOL. This is not as necessary as gas (Melrose), so why is it such an issue with price changes and what other private groups charge for their parties and such when YOU still have a choice? Thank you for the report and the many that did talk to me there said they had a great time and can't wait for the next one! Femcar, did email me the day of the party letting me know she was out of town. Got that email the next day. She also said she will be at the next one we host either at melrose or at another venue TBA. Most all of the couples that showed up (lots of new ones) did play. Swing clubs have raised prices too. The cost of Melrose is not much compared to most swing clubs expecially for single guy. Most now charge $90. to $100. on a Saturday. I was going tonight but when the prices was raised to $90 I quickly changed my mind. I dropped out of their group when Shebahubby took offense to me reposting messages from their Yahoo group on USAsexguide. At the time, he didn’t know who was doing it. I believe what he said was something like: "Let me know who is doing it and I'll kill the bastard." While I didn’t really believe he could or would do anything to me, I decided that I didn’t need to be in a group with that type of negative energy.

You are starting to sound a little bit like Nancy Kerrigan (remember her?) after her knee was clobbered by Tonya Harding's goons…""Why me??"". Why are you being picked on? Well you guys have made yourselves lightening rods for criticism. In your posts, you come off as the poster children for adult fun at the bookstore. You are the head cheerleader for the bookstore and an apologist for any of the owner's actions. In your posts, he can do no wrong. At least that is my perception.

There were two Yahoo groups. None were run by the bookstore. But both were used as vehicles to promote activities at the bookstore. So the PERCEPTION is that you are somehow affiliated with the bookstore. Wheahter this is Reality or Not, people have perceived that you are part of the bookstore.

Lets also talk about other perceptions. You would post: "Sheba and I will be at the bookstore this Saturday at 11pm. Come join us for fun" Your post goes out to how many members? 500? 1000, 1500 now? So maybe one tenth of those guys show up. In most guys minds this is what they are reading: "Come f**k Sheeba at 11pm." . Again, probably not reality. I am talking about perception.

So when you plan a party or a meet and greet, guys are coming expecting one thing, and then the reality of the situation sets in. You and Sheba are going to cherry pick who u are going to play with. That’s your right. Out of those 100 guys, someone is going to complain. That’s human nature.

If someone comes to a party that is advertised as having a buffet and drinks and such and they show up and nothing is left when they get there, they are going to complain. That’s human nature.

You are advertising your wife's pictures on your Yahoo group and on Bang My **** dot com. This is the Internet remember? It’s the wild, wild, west out there and people play fast and furious with whatever "rules" are in place. So your surprise and indignation at seeing Sheba's pictures in places other than the original post is misplaced.

The perception is that Adult Theatre Sluts and you are acting as if you are the center of the universe when it comes to the bookstore. What many of us are "complaining" about is that fact that the action that was so prevalent in the afternoons and evenings SEEMS to have disappeared and been replaced with "couples only" parties that happen after midnight on weekend nights. Between work and other responsibilities, these are not optimum times for many people. Price wise, what people are complaining about is that what once was a $20 afternoon out is now a $50 evening. Personally, I think it is a good price if I am using all those facilities. I have paid more at clubs around the country. I don’t have a problem paying those prices if I am using all those facilities. You always say, "Hey don’t come and pay the prices to use everything if you only want to go to the theatre". But when all the action seems to have pushed into the spa areas or the private party rooms, many guys don’t have a choice.

Where is the owner during all this? Why are you acting as his mouthpiece? He has posted here before. He presumably has memberships to the Yahoo groups. It would have been nice at some point to post a paragraph or two saying, "Hey guys, this is what I am doing and why….' Not that we want "Pete" style management or postings, but at least some communication from the front office would be a good thing.

Yes we understand it is a business. Yes we understand it costs a lot to run this business. I used to go to a bar and restaurant around the corner from my house. Cool decor, comfort food, and a great bartender that made the best martinis I have ever had. One day I go in and he has a long face. The owners are changing the menu, and going more into a "Sports Bar' theme. Beer in plastic cups. I never went back and it was closed in 6 months. Owners got greedy and assumed that the crowds that were coming in before would blindly follow any changes and keep coming back. I just dont want to see the same thing happen at Melrose.

Oh and one other thing. Throw a paragraph or two in to your posts. They look like one long run on sentence and are really hard to read.

So does that answer any of your questions? I hope you have been able to take this in the spirit in which it was intended, and I hope that maybe you can see things from a different point of view. I am sure I will be flamed here, and I am sure if I reapply to the Yahoo groups I will be denied.

To be very honest with you as far as the only time I have ever threatened anyone was when they would personally attack my wife, which "most" any husband would. I am not a mouth piece for the owner of the store but he is also a friend of mine and I do support my friends as much as possible. YOU may understand business but many do not and assume that change is always a bad thing, especially if he price goes up. You are right in saying that if you use all the elements that melrose offers it is worth the price. You are also right in saying if the couples go into the spa or parties that may be hosted on some weekends then the price in more. As far as what happens in my yahoo group (as I have several), I have never hidden the groups intentions. Oh, who is Lord Lee? LOL Sure isn't me LOL. For us (sheba and I) we use to love the theater area when the exam table was in there as well and she did enjoy many when it was. She is ok with the back room (of the theater) because she still likes that table. We at times enjoy the gloryhole booths too. We do enjoy the spa because of the private rooms which we get one everytime we come down because she like that better now that the theater doesn't allow play. (unless its in the back room)

What party are you talking about that we ran out of food on the buffet table that I supplied? Or drink that I supplied? Because that has never happened. One party Melrose supplied the beer and ran out but went to get more and had more within 30 min and so far that was the only instance ever since I have started the Meet & Greets There at Melrose for our yahoo group. This last party we had food left over and alcohol as well as beer left over too. I personally did not want Joe to supply pizza and asked him to put what he was going to put to pizza into wings and I provided all the rest of the food.

I find it interesting that your post contains things delt with in past posts either here or on the Ygroups. But hey thats your choice I suppose, so it gets addressed again. As far as the owner and him posting, thats none of my business as hes a big boy and can choose not to. I do not speak for him in anyway. I do talk to him concerning peoples perceptions and leave it there with him. I support him as a friend and I do some business with him concerning my Parties that I hold there, anything else he can speak for himself!

Your dissertation leaves me wondering if you are not like the "Nancy Kerrigan" that you mentioned for several reasons which you post. 1) You have never met me or my wife 2) Your no longer apart of my yahoo group (because of your negitive attitude and spirit which was outlined in your posts which got you banned) By the way I didn't ban you, the other owner did apparently after you posted a personal attack to me.

So here you get to have your soap box, even if you are in error. Here's the beauty of this for you. No one would know whether you are telling the truth or maybe stretching as far as what was posted unless they are apart of My group and willing to confront your error here. The old Dragnet show had a quote "Just the facts". No need to make up quotes or exaggerate perceptions, when the truth is you are in error on many of your so-called points.

If you want to reapply (your choice) go ahead and I will accept you personally as I do believe I had also tried to resolve our differences privately after I cooled down from being angry with you for your negitive posts.

Writing a dissertation is easy on a Sunday afternoon when all one is doing is watching the Titans dissect the Bears secondary. 3 and out, 3 and out, 3 and out......what an offense!

Two points to clarify:

I was simply trying to let you see how others experience the bookstore. That is why I brought up past issues. You experience the bookstore one way, the rest a totally different way. Stop confusing your parties with the rest of the daily bookstore experience.

My guess is that you have never attended the bookstore as a single male on a Wednesday afternoon. If you had, you would then understand where many of us are coming from.

Second: I was not banned from either group. In fact I never posted in your group at all. I think you are confusing me with another poster here. I left both groups under my volition and I left both groups by editing my membership and leaving the group. As a Yahoo owner, you have the ability to look for my past posts even after I left the group. If you find some, please re-post them here. There may be some, but I doubt that they are of the negative tirades that you suggest. The other owner and I exchanged some emails but nothing of a negative nature and I never, ever attacked you in any of the Yahoo groups.

I remember the flaming that was going on when I left. It was not from me, but by another member. It was the same on the other group and the same member. I think that you will find most of my posts are well reasoned and not of the flame type.

I stand corrected as far as the one posting some negitive stuff on our Ygroup. Then again I also uphold that I never have said what you quoted that I did. End of discussion.

You are right as I am not a single male attending Melrose on a Wednesday afternoon, so I suppose I do not understand some of the points you make. I have gone down there alone and "hung out" for awhile after meeting with the owner in preperation for one of My parties. I suppose that doesn't qualify LOL. Again I will say Melrose is still the best place going in the Midwest. (I'm sure there are others but we have only been to one other and will not be back there until they clean it LOL.)

The purpose of this board is to help men meet women to have sex with according to Jackson the owner of this site. Part of that is to report on our expeiences of all sorts with various woman, whether they are good or bad. Negative info is often the most helpful as it allows us to avoid frustrating experiences that are a waste of time and even dangerous in some cases.
