If you have hypochondriac tendencies and can't get the worry out of your mind, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea tests can be done after 1 week or more. The rest (4th gen HIV test, syphilis, Hepatitis. Herpes) can be done after 42 days. At that point your odds are probably 1 in millions against. You could test again at 6 months if you need to get rid of that 1 in millions chance.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]I remember many, many years ago getting scared shitless just because cover broke mid session. Then I've realized not every provider has stds. In fact very few of them have and pretty much same rule applies for civilian girls. While there are no absolute guarantees in this business (unless everyone gets regularly tested, etc.) there are few things you can do to help yourself. Here are my basic guidelines:

1. Avoid BB anal. Risk of transmission is simply much greater and I'm restrictive with this activity even with civilians.

2. Avoid SW and providers suspectible of using drugs. Aside from the more obvious concerns I find those providers often lacking basic hygiene and that's a problem of it's own.

3. Avoid providers openly advertising BBFS. Those providers would be simply less selective (if selective at all) and their exposure is simply greater. Admittedly 98 Mott is an exception for me in those terms and I would still bareback Gina Rollins if I ever had a chance in the future. Otherwise it's just something ti keep in mind.

4. If it looks and / or smells funky there it is probably not kosher. This one is self explanatory.

5. Take care of yourself. Clean your tool with alcohol after session (hand sanitizer works as well) and get hepatitis vaccination if you did not thus far. Hepatitis is actually more common than you may think.

So not only is meant to be taken by those who are positive, but also to be taken as a preventative measure for those who aren't, and that it would be most effective in a situation where both partners are taking it correctly (not missing doses, etc.).

So it's possible that if a provider is taking PREP, she's merely doing so as a safety precaution.

I'm sure most of mongers got it, but didn't know since most people just tested for common and deadly diseases.

I rarely test for hsv (full panel, hsv is not included).

Kgirls are the same as other girls, they are not disease-free. I did get it couple times in my last 6 years (just common stds).

I used to party hard back in 2004,2005 and 2006 with couple of single friends as we were all in our low 30 years old age. So could her HSV-1 from cold sore instead of sexaul transmission? Can we stil do DATY and BB or must use cover now.

Also, heard 50-70% of worlds population has HSV1 positive- that to me means HSV-1 must transmitted other than sex, if so should it even be considered STD?

There are eight Herpetic viruses. Herpes simplex type 1 is not considered a sexually transmitted disease. It typically resides in the trigeminal ganglion and when activated typically (99%) travels to the mouth, lip, face but on occasion (1%) can take a detour to the eye or eyelid and that can be bad news. HSV type 2 is more characteristically is a sexually transmitted disease. Genital to genital. HSV type 1 can infect skin if you have an open wound or sore leading to Herpetic Whitlow so you would want to be safe as active oral HSV 1 could contaminate an open wound if that person did not already have antibody resistance to HSV 1 from previous exposure. As most people over 20 do. Originally thought to be 95% of people over 20, it is now thought to be about 70% but this is easily identified on a blood draw looking for IgG HSV1 - and this is again, not considered sexually transmitted. Herpes Zoster (Shingles) is a different herpetic virus. Reactivated Chicken Pox. And while it is not sexually transmitted, if you are over 50, you need the new 2-part vaccination. Even if you have had previous shingles or the previous, less-effective vaccination. Should you develop an STD, HZV infection is more likely to develop particularly if it is from HIV. Stay safe.

On the STD thread elsewhere on this site, there still is a fair amount of ignorance surrounding HIV testing. Oh and I run into it with girls as well. When HIV was first discovered and the big scare went, out the only tools available for detection were the Gen 1 & 2 antibody tests. But like brick cell phones, technology marches on and now we are up to Gen 4 testing and optional RNA testing. The point is that exposure to HIV can now be detected as soon as 9-11 days after exposure / infection. That is because the RNA test actually looks for or detects the virus. The 'old" tests looked for antibodies, made by the immune system in response to the virus. In some people it took their bodies / immune systems up to 3 months to produce antibodies. Gen 4 testing looks for antibodies AND antigens and the antigens appear and this can be detected much sooner than antibodies. So new tech finds the actual virus sooner.

Now as far as that site being "private?" I dunno? You want that lab showing up as a charge on the permanent record with your Credit Card company? Are you going to be able to get results sent to hobby email? Will you have to show I'd at the test center? Looks like they use Quest Diagnosis and Lab Corp as the phlebotomists.
