I had planned to go to the Block and said I'd report back, but I didn't make it there. So instead I'm going to give a fictional report of what I imagine could have happened if I went around 6pm on a Monday.

My second source of recon, after this forum, was Google Street View. If you're not using it you should. There's nothing like seeing what a place looks like before you get there to start to get a feel for a place.

For parking, the city lot at E. Baltimore and Guilford Ave is a good way to go. $5 for after 5pm is a reasonable price and it seemed reasonably secure. (The system of plastic coins rather than paying an attendant is annoying, however.)

I planned to start at the Plaza, but one of the dancers was standing by the front door and I was not impressed. I instead found my way to Lust (upstairs).

I am partial to black women, preferrably with a few extra pounds. The 6 or so dancers I saw varied in weight, but all looked pretty good to me. Within the first few minutes, at least 3 women came over to hustle drinks, but all were friendly enough when I said maybe later. I was waiting for Unique, who was a bit on the chunky side. Rather than buy her a drink, I opted for a 2 song lap dance for. 6. She made it clear that my hands were welcome to wander. I enjoyed it (despite the high price), and was definitely tempted by her offer of continuing upstairs for another 1. (I asked "what's upstairs? " and was told. As expected. You have to come upstairs to find out.) Instead, I gave a. 1 tip and moved on.

I would have gone into the 2 o'clock club, but the door was locked. So across the street I went, first to Circus for a quick peek inside. Two fairly unattractive women standing there with seemingly nothing going on. Maybe some other time. I then took a quick look inside the Harem. Pretty much the same. Next.

Don't quite remember why I kept walking past Jewel Box and Oasis. It may have been overly pushy doormen.

The doorman at Chez Joey/Diamond Lounge said they were running a. 2 lap dance special, so I decided to head down the steps and take a look. On stage was a chunky white girl. Looked pretty good and normally would have gotten my attention. But Caramel (not certain if that's her name. It's something like that), a thin, very tall, attractive black woman was seated by the front door.

After flirting for a minute or two, I decided to skip getting a drink and asked her for the. 2 lap dance. The bartender tried to get me to go for the. 6 (for 4 songs), but I stuck with the. 2. The lap dance area is relatively private, and the first thing I noticed was there were tall bar stool chairs rather than sofas. The other thing I quickly noticed was that my new friend immediately launched uninvited into a BBBJ instead of a lap dance. Fine with me. I decided the. 6 lap dance sounded like a good idea. Went that route, BBBJ was top notch, and I left quite happy.

If only this wasn't pure fiction.

I do incalls, AMPs, and the Block. Mainly, I stick to the AMPs, even though I am disappointed 80% of the time. Do you believe outcalls are safer than incalls? I do a lot of recon before I hit an incall, but I am really hesitant to pay for a room and invite someone who might not look like the pics. I'd be out of cash for the room and disappointed. There is no way in hell I'd have one come to the house though. What do you do to mitigate the risks of an outcall?

If I cannot find enough reviews from acceptable sources, I will not see the girl and will happily go without for the evening.

I spend almost every night in a hotel room anyway due to my job, so for me at least, that part of it is not as much of an issue.

Came through BWI and had some time to kill so I checked out McDougals as it appeared to be the closest spot to BWI. Interesting club with some odd ways but the girls overall looked great and were all very friendly. Did not have the $$$ on me to try out the private dances. I will go back next time I am in town. I am still looking for a really nice club with all the girls 9s and 10s and $5 lap dances. Haha

I'll be filing my taxes in person this year at the main post office downtown, which means that I'm going to be damn close to the Block.

I was at Hustler tonight around 11ish and spotted a Russian girl with short blond hair. Wanted to see if I could negotiate a take-out but I've never seen a take out report from Hustler on here.

Is trying to get take-out at Hustler a big no no? I never see any take-out reports from that place. What do you block veterans think? How would you go about bringing it up?

I have been going to the Jewel Box to see a couple of girls for the last six weeks. I guess you can call me a regular. I usually buy a few drinks,and a couple of lap dances every day that I am there.

On this particular night, I did not feel like buying any lap dances for any of the girls,I just wanted to buy drinks and talk. Anyway one girl that I usually buy drinks came over. I bought her a drink and then we started hugging and kissing. Joe runs over and ask if I want to get a lap dance from her. I told him,No, I am not buying any lap dances tonight. Joe goes back behind the bar and has another girl to come over to tell the girl I am drinking with to leave. He then has the other bartender to come over and tell me that if I do not buy the girl that I was sitting with a lap dance that I could not stay.

I told him that NO ONE has any right to tell me what to do with my own money. I also told him that they did not have a valid reason to ask me to leave. I have done nothing wrong. He said that that thay did not need a reason.

I told him to tell Joe that I would leave when I am ready or he can call the police and have them escort me out. Joe backed down fron asking me to leave but I would not be served anymore. Later the girl that I was talking to told me that Joe knew that I usually spend a lot of money and that he wanted me to spend more. She told me that he is just a greedy,rude asshole to the girls and some customers that he thinks that he can bully. I believe her because I have seen him get pissed when some guys do not want to buy a girl a drink,or when the girls cannot hustle drinks or dances from guys.

Joe's greed cost him a good customer as well as a couple of girls that are fed up with pimping/bullying bullshit. I certainly will not recommend my friends to go there for that kind of service.

While I have never had a significant problem with Joe, he does tend to push the "no grinding at the bar" rule. Which is why I generally shy away from ladies' drink purchases while he is there.

I have found that the key to The Block is to frequent bars when the best bartenders are there. I have been around long enough to know which bartenders are more tolerant/less pushy. That information is unfortunately necessary in order to stretch the life of my funds.

I could understand that rule if I was at the bar,but I was not. I was sitting on the stools along the mirrored back wall. No worries though, with his greedy attitude and rude behavior,I do not want to return. There are much better places to go.

Thanks all![/QUOTE]It depends on your interests. Each bar is a little different, and your experience may vary even at a certain bar, based on time of day, and day of week. It really depends on which girls are there. And. Some girls work at multiple bars. As stated here previously, just walk in & out of the bars until you see someone of interest.

Word of advice. Don't buy a drink for a girl until you see them with another guy. So that you can judge if she rushes through the drink. You don't want to blow $20 on a 5 minute chat with a girl.

Also, when you order a drink for a girl, be sure to request a free beer for yourself.

Going to Baltimore for the weekend in a few weeks. Having a bachelor party for a freind. Any recommendations on where to go? Not looking for sex, just a fun night out.

Baltimore has pickle bars just like any other city. If you're staying downtown, Federal Hill is a big pickle fest. The only single women in those bars are usually gay or Lorena Bobitt friendly. It's the perfect place for men who aren't looking for women, EVER! The orioles game is another good place to go right now. All the good looking single women are staying away because the Os suck. It's full of die hard drunk, dumpy gals. If you decide to allow your buddy the chance to hang out with women, try Canton(O'Donnel st between S Linwood and S Ellwood st). A dead fish could get laid in Canton bars. Plus the women are good looking and personable.

If you are looking for a strip club, just go to the block(East Baltimore between Commerce and S Gay). It is an experience everyone should have at least once. Get your buddy real drunk. He'll get fucked before the night's over one way or another.

Visited the Block Tues around 1pm. Probably the most boring trip ever, and I've been going a long time. Jewel Box, one girl, I left without a beer. Circus, some of the regulars were there, one new cutie, but a new bartender that I didn't want to negotiate with. One beer. RR, no talent, one beer. Flamingo, no talent, 1/2 beer. Plaza, yet another new bartender, Carla formerly of Flamingo. One girl talked a good game, but had rotten teeth. Can't do that. One beer. Diamond, 3 girls with no interest in playing, 1/2 beer. Back in VA by 4:30, sober with no happy ending. Oh, well, you take the good with the bad.

Popped into Flamingo and Lust on a Friday afternoon. Both were pretty dead, which only worked to my advantage in one spot.

Flamingo -- Girls looked bored and only one approached me. She offered what I thought was a great deal, and ended up being not so hot in the VIP arena. At the very least, she was drunk, more likely on something. I should've thought with the big head. Live and learn. At least the bartender was cool, and I tipped her well.

Lust -- Slow also, but the girls were hotter and friendlier. Ended up getting a few laps from Amber, who sat for a while on her drinks and chilled. Cool attitude, and didn't seem to offer much in the way of Block extras, but was still a damn good time. Enough to get me back in the day, for sure.

Had a late lunch today but it was great food and I can't complain about the two buck drafts either. Met Skye and was impressed with her detailed tats. The bartender was ok too with her no bra outfit. The place was pretty empty but they had non stop girls dancing and it had a peaceful feel to it. Will return to try more food on the menu. I can see that some the girls would do take out, but they are pros and would definitely cost alot. The inn has a VIP lounge and some private dance room. I wonder what that is all about? LOL.

There are cameras there, but they have 2-for-1 on Tuesdays and Saturdays and it's worth a little $$$ to get the dances from the right ones. Some real hot girls there, and many of them are very friendly. Cute bartenders. Some really friendly, some not so much. Definitely a neighborhood place with lots of regulars. Nice happy hour buffet on Fridays and good selection of girls dancing all day - usually not over-crowded, so it's a decent time to go. Girls do walk around for tips after dancing on stage, but are not push about dances and often will sit and talk with you for a while.

I like the place. Think take out would be difficult, as these are not pros, but I think you could hook up with the right girl if you click and provide lots of drinks. LOL

Last time I was there they had January from Sherri's Show Bar dancing along with Ava the older blond from the Pussycat she claims to be a nurse. If you can't get any action in the VIP room then I am sure you can get carry out from at least those two.
