Whack-a-mole

1. Literally, an arcade game in which the player uses a small rubber mallet to hit robotic toy moles that pop up randomly in holes laid out across the surface of the machine.

2. By extension, a situation in which problems continue to arise faster than one is able to solve or cope with them, resulting in piecemeal, incomplete, or temporary results.

I always enjoy seeing independents who have legit ads with an inkling that they might offer more. Craigslist Therapeutic was my go to for this and now it's gone. I'd love to TOFTT and report back but I don't know where to start. Any ideas? Not looking for body rub providers who are obvious about their services but looking for someone I can test the limits of. It's important to note that, when you do a search for a particular city or zip code, you usually don't see all the ads for that area. The site will hold some back and say they are "hidden" and you need a "friend's token" to view them. According to the site, they don't charge for the tokens but you have to provide your email address. Then it's up to them if they approve you and send a token code, which is only valid for a limited time.

Rather than go through all that nonsense, here's a workaround I've been using that seems to do the trick. If you're looking for a specific area, say Arlington, first do a search using that city name but then follow it up by searching other nearby cities (ex. Falls Church, Springfield). The default radius is 30 miles so your searches will overlap each other. You should see a few different masseuses in each result so you'll have a more complete picture of who is available.

Also, just as with the CL and BP therapeutic sections, the way an ad is worded, the pics used, and the pricing structure (if listed) will give you some clues as to possibilities. And some ads have links to external websites which contain additional info. Good luck and don't forget to come back and report on your experiences.
