On the plus side, as of now, most forecasts seems to have Dorian becoming a strong tropical storm or maybe a category 1 hurricane, meaning not terribly significant, at least as far as these things go! On the negative side, those forecasts also seem to have it heading straight towards Central Florida. I'm on the coast, fairly close to where many of the models have Dorian making landfall. Personally, I stay put for anything that's a category 3 or less, honestly, just not worth the hassle of evacuating. I put up my storm shutters, load up on supplies and wait it out. In 45 plus years in Florida, I've never suffered anything worse than some broken tree limbs, a few lost shingles and power outage of 2 or 3 days. If Dorian hits the coast as a cat 1, it won't have much of an effect on Orlando, or the working ladies, certainly not for more than a day or so. Applying our oft stated motto of "Play safe", keep an eye on the forecasts and go from there!

There may be some trees down, but local governments and power companies have been proactive since the storms of '04 in trimming trees.
The storm comes and goes in a day. There may be cleanup and that may take anywhere from a few days to weeks, depending. Will it affect the hobby? The girls have to work.

Whether is Christmas, New Year's, a hurricane or whatever, they are the last places to close and the first to open! My area was effected by Hurricane Irma in 2017 and many places were without power for up to 4 or 5 days. When I ventured out, the FIRST places open were the local Chinese restaurants! Good thing I like Chinese!
