The part about her staying at the place with the HIV guy is true. There are people here that know it is true.
And you are right about me lying about picking her up. Yes I was trying to deter people. But after having PMed a few of the guys and they have been understanding I decided to post that post. Was it wrong, yeah. But I was trying to do the right thing.
And I appreciate that you have been on the wrong side of addiction. From my experience and of course everyone is different but frequently an addict will go crazy with drugs before getting clean. She is going crazy now and has spoken to me quite a bit about getting clean again. I'm not trying to say that she is ready now and I know I can't make that decision for her but she is getting closer and closer. Besides, I don't have much influence in her life as it is. It is her mother that she really looks to and her mother has asked me not to give up on her daughter. What am I supposed to do? I'm not the kind of person that just tosses people away. I still talk to all of my exes.
And I'm not just giving her a free place to stay it is her mother too. They both have been on drugs for over a decade and her mother sees how bad her daughter is and recognizes she is the only one that has influence. She wants to get clean herself so that she can be there for her daughter. They are both welcome so they can get a start in life. But in reality, and this is why Mandi is fighting this so hard, I've been talking about going into treatment and that is a really difficult thing as you may or may not know.
As far as the 1 in 2 of 10. That is that many less. Look, it isn't just the fact that it is screwing her up psychologically or the fact that she is destroying her body with drugs. There are other factors like cervical cancer and so on.
There are plenty of gals with no one that gives a shit. This one has people. And it kills her mother that this is going on. Granted she is no angel but she is her mother none the less. Respect that if nothing else.
And Amanda is no different than many of the working girls. Nearly all of them have serious addictions and don't like what they must do to support their habits. You'd be suprised how many others use iv drugs. Rock is still the affliction for most of our working ladies. More and more ladies are taking opiates lately. Blueberries (30mg roxy) are the most popular. Most dancers and many agency ladies take opiates as well.
If you seriously think she's the only girl in that situation. You must be blind or ga ga for her. Wake up and smell the coffee. All of these ladies have significent addictions and issues. They don't date men twice and three times their age for.
Love. They're feeding an addiction.
You want to help her? When she's really ready get her in a program. Make sure it's a structured program. Then it's all up to her.
