Vegas is A Very Dangerous Place
So as a recent victim of robbery and assault by a criminal named Mellissa who posts on LC everyday again and poses as a legit human being.
This article brought even more clarity to my attack and how lucky I was to get away with my life.

Vegas is not really that dangerous of a place

I'm disabled and walking around this city. You drive around with a gun participating in criminal activity and committing crimes.
Don't completely disagree
The activities one engages with matter.
I've never had an issue or almost lost my life because I don't engage LC or streetwalker chicks with pimps and criminal boyfriends. The situation that happened to the OP clearly had an effect since they keep posting followups, but nothing like that has happened to me. So I can't really commiserate.
I've never had a problem here when participating in the hobby. Part of that has to do with being careful and trying not to get into a situation that puts you at risk. Still, LV can be dangerous when you don't expect it to be. I live in a quiet neighborhood that no one would consider dangerous. I run a lot to keep in shape. When it gets hot out I run very early in the morning. On one occasion I was out running and had three guys, one with a gun that he pointed at me, stop me. Needless to say, I was surprised, but turned livid since they stopped me during an activity I really enjoy doing. I looked at the guy with the gun and asked if he was fucking crazy, and did he really think I had anything on me that was worth anything. I kept slowly backing away to keep anyone from putting hands on me, and they finally decided to just leave. I reported it to the police and they said they had other reports that these same 3 had stopped some people while they were out walking and robbed them.
The irony is that I've ran in a number of poor, seedy areas that are considered dangerous here and across the US and never had a problem. Hell I've even had homeless people offer me water.
