Sunday a week ago I saw Alania. She was on crutches at the motel behind Bohangles on SC. I haven't seen her in years. She was often referred to as the "skinny Russian. " She hadn't aged a bit. Stays at the Garden Inn down the street & claims she isn't in the hobby, which could be but seems hard to believe because I've seen her several times walking up & down Reagan. I'm a clean cut white guy & in the past have been told that I resemble their UNCLE, so maybe she was just being cautious??

Had a nice conversation though while I was pumping gas.

Can anyone confirm if she is / isn't in the hobby? I'd love to have an actual visit with her sometime if anyone knows how to reach her.

I tried but never got the opportunity to approach. She didn't walk like a SW, she walked fast and didn't make eye contact or pay any kind to cars that slowed down. I'm with you, she's my type, and I went back Sunday hoping to see her but I didn't.

Hi Jay, that's probably not unreasonable but their opening quote is just that. My suggestion is decide what your stop-loss is and put that in your shirt pocket and when they throw out a number say "well I respect that but all I have is $x", as long as its not something stupid (like. 10) they'll take it. In fact I've never been turned down using that technique.

I also use that with semi-regulars that text when they need money and have never been turned down, ever. I just say "hey, the old man is short this week but I have $x on me but if that would help. ", the response is always "come on over!" I have made some incredible deals. Sure money is never turned down if you're clean, nice, & sane.
