And if forty is a lot to pay for a hs, then I don't know what to tell you. Sometimes I see reports with crazy low prices and wonder if they are full of crap. Other times I feel like some people only want to pay what they paid 10-20 yrs ago, which to me is somewhat unrealistic. I haven't been doing this for long, so maybe this is my inexperience coming into play. I'm not buying a car or home, so negotiation is not at the forefront of my mind. At the same time I'm not going to fall for the 50-50-50 thing again. Once was enough. If I was quoted anything higher than what I paid in my last post, I'd like to think I'd balk. At the time it seemed reasonable, as I have come to expect paying somewhat of a premium for latina action. Next time, I'll probably try and get a better price somewhere else.

Perhaps you've lost track that most mongers on this board don't have $1000 to throw around for any type of service.
The price that providers are willing to accept is absolutely a reflection of the price mongers are willing to pay. Providers are creatures of habit like everyone else. But I will agree that there are certain limits to what a provider is willing to accept. That's just common sense. We'll never see prices for FS like you see South America & Asia, or at least I highly doubt it.
