In the past I have known plenty of people who have done time and who have called me from the grey bar hotel and this automated recording sounds very authentic.
For the life of me I can't think of a provider who is doing serious time. Just wondering if anyone else has gotten the call or is this just yet another scam. ?? Thoughts?

Granted I can't speak to every county in the Commonwealth, but it's been true for Henrico (East and West), Pamunkey, Southside, and Riverside. Also, for all DOC residents, you get a call requesting permission for inmate X to contact you before they can call you.

3. If you pay money now, you may get a call in the future.
4. In my own experience, collect calls from jail usually identify the institution and the caller.

Like they have $$ on their books to pay for the call otherwise you have to put money on your phone if you want to talk to them. Had a ex that was locked up for couple years.
