Many have reported getting into convos w / profiles on seeking that turn out to be fakes, just trying to get them into some sort of financial scam. A common element is asking someone to get onto Signal or Telegram or WhatsApp, all apps that are commonly used outside the US.
Well, here is a new one. I was using LinkedIn, someone was also commenting on the same thread I was, and then 'she' says please connect to me for a conversation. I did, I saw initially an attractive profile photo. Well, eventually we got into convo on that site, and the whole Telegram thing came up.
I looked again at the full profile pic. She's like in a swimsuit. OK, should have seen this originally, impossible to take this seriously now. I did a facial rec search, hit on a bunch of photos in Instagram, and even found a match on another LinkedIn profile.
This stuff is getting out of hand.
LinkedIn has been marketing and actual scams for awhile now, throw in Telegram and it's almost 100% a scam I wonder if the photo on that other LinkedIn profile where another fake account (some of these scammers are just lazy) or if they just stole the picture from there. Heck, these days they might getting close to doing fakes with AI. Just don't count the number of fingers LOL.

To make this happen, we are rolling out a new feature: the Selfie Liveness Check.
Here's how it works:
• During the signup process, new users will briefly show their face via their phone or computer camera.
• Seeking's artificial intelligence will analyze the video to confirm the person signing up is real and matches their profile photos.
• This process is quick, private, and secure.
This feature is currently being tested and will soon be rolled out to the community in phases. With this and other initiatives, we are striving to build the most trusted online dating experience in the industry.
So it finally happened. 4 years and my account got banned. Super pissed because it wasn't even over something said in chat. I was accused of threatening a member and then provided with zero evidence, just banned. Incredibly frustrated by this. I'm going to take a little sabbatical and then I'll probably get a new iPhone and make my account again.
Happened to me again as well. Banned about 2 months ago, suspicious activity they said. Now just this month, paid for a membership, then 3 days later, I get a notice my account is on hold until I do their verification process. Think I am done with Seeking.
So looking for some new sites to try. Had a trip to SD this past weekend, almost had this 19 yr old for 400, found her on a new site. https://sugarlifenow.com/profile/Aria/.
Of course she ghosted me when I got to SD.

Here's a blonde girl for you guys. She lives near Hollywood. Photos are her but she's probably in her late 30's or 40's. She has wrinkles on her face. She's not new to sugar dating or SA. Allowance negotiable.

Here's a blonde girl for you guys. She's been on SA for many years now. She's looking for a monthly allowance upfront. She doesn't do ppm. Also, she asks for 300 for an M&G for dinner at an upscale restaurant. She doesn't meet for coffee. Unverified.

Here's a blonde girl for you guys. She's been on SA for over 6 years, on and off. She's a model and actress but is now doing casting. She asks for a very high allowance and is very selective. You'll probably not meet her.
HG's point, though is that this may be required of guys, and those of us unwilling to give up personal info will be SOL.
Until we know what the full process will be like. It sounds like it's only a quick video selfie to match your uploaded photos. And it says it's private. Meaning only for Seeking's temporary use and their eyes only. Not meant to show the selfie video on public profile. There's no mention of hard PII info such as SSN, Name, Address, etc. being gathered. So a bit early to get paranoid over it. And it may not be required of long established members. It said for new users/members.
I think it's a great thing as well. Get rid of bots, catfishes, spammers, etc. It may not reduce it 100% but it's a good start. The only thing it won't work against is full on prostitutes signing up as a fresh sugarbaby. The pro will simply do the selfie video. Then again though there are career sugarbabies that keep returning. Which at that point I call them prostitutes as well. Side gig or main gig as a prostitute.

Google pay
Google Pay doesn't work anymore. They'll ask you to verify your account after payment. A few minutes later my profile was active with my real age. After my membership expired I created a different profile using Google pay (5 days ago) with no issues or verification.
I'm still not sure how they have blacklisted me? I was denied creating a profile by using my name and CC but I was able to create a profile by using Google pay and I'd verification?

Loser right off. My uploaded photos aren't me for real. I would never put my real photos on any dating site, in my case b / c I have a SO. I'd recommend anyone else also refuse to do it. Seeking needs to continually keep in mind that half its paying customers are married, and facilitate their being on the site (payments, requirements) .
I have two profiles, both a few years old. I am pretty observant of all the rules, I don't think I ought to get banned, yet I did get spanked a about a year ago, and had to watch their TOS video. I presume I am on probation, meaning any future transgression and I am instantly banned. We all know what a big deal it is to get banned. So, I don't think this is a great thing. It might be neutral. The same things that keep scammer 'girls' off will keep me off. And I pay, they don't.

I don't have an issue using real pics even if I did have a SO. The only time I might consider using fake pics is if I had young children that are not 18 yet. I wouldn't want to hurt them if caught. But adults are adults and there's a reason people cheat, shit happens. Having young kids is a different story.

So, I don't even have a profile picture. If challenged, think I should hold up a picture of a gray silhouette in front of my camera? LOL.
I'm in FFA's boat. I trust existing members are exempt. While I agree such a process makes sense for an unpaying member (all SBs), It doesn't make sense for a paying member (most SDs). The problem with Seeking is there is no barrier to entry for SBs, therefore all the bot, scammers etc.

To reduce fake, bot, catfish sugarbabies. Also if you think about it. If you're a sugardaddy using fake pics. Then you're contributing to the catfish issue as well. Because you're a catfish as well using fake pics of yourself. I'm pretty sure the real sugarbabies would appreciate also knowing the sugardaddy they're talking to is using pics that accurately represent who they're taking to.
Plus remember you can keep your pics private until you choose to reveal them to a POT. It's not like they need to be kept public on blast for anyone to view.

You do know of the AM hack, right? Never exclude this could happen on seeking. Though they are better than most dating sites.
I don't try to hornswoggle girls. I have a photo of someone who does look like me and is about my age, it isn't George Clooney. If you need to find a photo of someone who looks like you but isn't you, you can use some of the facial recognition sites. I have to run my IRL photos that I supply to POTs through those sites sometimes, just to make sure no one out there has something that finds the real me. It is interesting that there are guys out there who do look sort of like me, and I wouldn't be uncomfortable putting those pics up there if I had to. So, I don't believe I contribute to any issues w / catfishing. I want a real / enjoyable relationship w / my SBs, I am not trying to fake anyone out.
I chop off the top of my face of my 'fake' pics, so it is difficult to prove absolutely that they aren't me.
One virtue to video verification. You don't get something, even if you have the actual photo in electronic form, that you can use with a facial recognition site to find someone's IRL identity.

Different experiences
IDK how some make such categorical statements. There are as many attitudes / sensitivities as women. I had a SO who had been relentlessly cheated on by an ex-hubby. For the first 15 years of our relationship, she constantly accused me of stepping out on her. It was never true. Then I realized, she has no clue. And there was not the right sort of intimate relationship. So I then began to (very discreetly) see others. She was very very rarely right. She suspected when I was innocent, and vice versa.

I consider that generation of woman more classy and ladylike than the modern younger women I'm mostly referring to. But the smell on you that women can detect still applies to all women. Plus your scenario was an exception because she had been cheated on relentlessly under the sanctity of marriage. It was expected for her to be suspicious of every little thing. That the next man in her life was doing. Personally if I knew that woman's history I wouldn't have gotten involved with her. Because it would have been a constant losing uphill battle to be proving my innocence and faithfulness.
I still have some faith and hope that there are good women out there to have as a GF or wife. But it's getting harder to find them with the modern American woman. As I've said I still civie date usually 20 somethings to 30 somethings. I still want to have a kid or two. But in that age group in this day and age. Most just want to date around and not commit. And by date around meaning to fuck around. They want to get dicked down well but don't want to commit to a relationship. That's why I haven't found one yet to ask to be a GF. And why I actually look to non American women that have migrated here for a relationship. They usually still hold the traditional values of a woman. Instead of American women with their strong feminism and bullshit like the "me too" movement. It's hard out there nowadays for a strong hetero man to just be a normal man that loves women.
