Strip Club Reports

Having worked in that business myself, and seeing a lot of behind-the-scenes ugliness. I can offer the following expert testimony.

One previous posted said the management will always believe the dancer over you. That's not exactly true. They'll believe you, they just won't care.

What you have to understand is that most of the dancers at any club are there to support a drug addiction. Their brains are already damaged, and just getting worse with each passing day. They don't concern themselves with right and wrong, only with making money. I'm not telling you not to go there, I'm just advising a full understanding of who and what your typical dancer is before engaging them.

Managers at the club are always going to take the side of whatever keeps the club going. When I was working in the business, I once asked why dancers caught with drugs in the club weren't fired. The answer I was given is that if every dancer with drugs got fired then there wouldn't be enough girls left to keep the club open. And, yes, this manager was being serious.

The bouncers work for mostly tips, so they too are going to do whatever is in their financial best interest.

This kind of stuff is why I don't go to strip clubs any more.

Part of her terms was to give her half the donation up-front, and get the other half once arrived at the hotel. I did not like this idea, I understand we are both taking a risk, but she was sweet, also I had a few drinks and probably didn't make the best choice. The place was minute from closing time, she said she would ride over there with me, just wait for her in the car outside, while she changed. This way her boss would not see us leaving together, and would not suspect anything. So, I handed her half the donation, and headed out to wait. She said she would be 15 minutes.

Well, after about 20 minutes, I realized the possibility of her not showing is not impossible. However, maybe something was making her late. I waited another hour in the car, while the parking lot cleared out, until nobody else was leaving. Sadly for me, I waited 90 minutes to be certain, most of that time I cursed myself for being gullible, how could I make such a poor decision?

Now, for me this is a learning experience, and I should have been wiser about giving her any amount of money up front. This is something I had asked her, from my perspective, how do I know she will actually show up? She told me that there is a risk for both, she is a woman of "integrity", does not offer this to everyone, she was also horny, and wanted to make some extra cash. I am someone who takes good care of myself, am considered a good looking man, fit, respectful, funny, kind, etc (perhaps also nave apparently), so because of these factors, I had thought this was something of a real-deal, I mean, why not?

I'm lookin for your help guys. It's not about the money I lost, that I my own poor judgement. But this girl totally ripped me off! (worse for me the Canadian dollar is not worth nearly as much as a US dollar is so it actually hurt my bank more than you know!) Maybe she disappeared out the back door, never to be seen again by me Which is probably true because I am not from here, and will not be back anytime soon. Even though she works most nights it seems.

The managers know my face because I spent an entire weekend in the club, dropped enough cash. I am thinking of going back tomorrow before I leave town just to tell them that she had offered this extra service, and also ripped me off. I don't expect anything out of it, but maybe they will fire her, or whatever. I don't want this to happen to anyone else, and you can bet your ass the club does not either. Is this a good idea guys? Is there any other advice?

Also place yourself in the bouncer's shoes. If you were a bouncer would you rather tell an irate but otherwise probably rational man that did something stupid (and knows it) that there really isn't anything you can do or would you rather accuse an irrational, likely drugged out, and quite possibly mentally unstable stripper of stealing without any proof? The second one will not go well and you've just made likely a lifelong enemy of her and any other girl she bitches to. The worst thing that happens with the first is that guy stops coming to your strip club.

Even from a business perspective it favors her. You could argue that they are losing your money but they are losing way more, in aggregate, if they lose a girl and they know there is a good chance you'll come back weeks or months later, lesson learned and anger forgotten, because the little head has it's own ideas.

They're under new management, coincidentally I ran into the manager in my hotel lobby the next morning, he recognized me. I told him what happened, and he was cool about it. Gave me his number, t-shirt and hat, a VIP membership. He told me to drop into the club for the VIP, and ended up letting me eat and drink for free for as long as I wanted. There was no girls there when it opened, but the bartender was hot. It's a good place in my books. You just have to play the game.

The lesson here is, never give a stripper money.

Most dancers hate men. Most of them were touched by daddy or uncle or mom's boyfriend du jour or whatever. Now that they're all grown up and have a little power, they're looking for revenge. You're their daddy or uncle or whatever today, and they're going to take their pound of flesh out of you. In other words, in their minds stealing from you isn't stealing, it is just reparations that you owe as a man because another man who you never met or never will meet did something bad to her when she was a child. It is sick, but that is how many of them think.

Enjoy the T-shirt and hat. Probably the most expensive T-shirt and hat combo you'll ever own.

Been visiting Venoms / Candy Store for LOTs of years. I keep going back. Yes there are a few large women working there, on occasion. However, there are some others with great bodies and great attitudes. With super customer service.
