A growing problem on Airbnb. More hosts are surreptitiously recording guests–likely as a defense in case crazy stuff happens. Sometimes we hear of egregious examples, where guests were able to get Airbnb's attention because they discovered a hidden camera in a place like a bathroom. But during these less outrageous situations–which are invasions of privacy, nonetheless–Airbnb users have less recourse.

I think this has potential.

My recent experience with is a co-worker was arrest and convicted for rape after meeting a girl on Facebook and declining her offer once they met face to face. She tried to blackmail him for cash, he called her bluff, she followed through the skipped town never to be seen again. That afternoon the police came to his house after she filed charges. While he never touched her it became a she said, he said and in the middle of the Me Too Movement, he lost before being charged. Before his trial they struck a deal but he lost his job, family, wife, reputation, thousands of dollars and messed up his life with a felony record.

Smaller town, female the, he's 50 ish, she 30 ish. Lawyers advised against jury trial because of Me Too environmental. Was reduced to lesser charge, probation instead of prison time. Still felony, lost job had to sell toys like 4 x4 truck, boat to get cash for defense. Victim skipped town state kept postponing with no end in sight. I'm sure he took what was the best deal he could get. According to my buddy all the news about sex trafficking, poor women are victims men are evil mentality is what was the biggest problem.

Either way the moral of this story is everyone be careful.

Did it ever occur to you why the affidavit for the search warrant didn't include any screen shots from that site but it did include the licensing information from the city, the lab reports for the semen they found on the tissues in the garbage and the logs from the surveillance to support the statements that only male clients entered?

Let me help you get there, Posts from websites like ours and rubmaps are hearsay and therefore inadmissible. Like I have said a thousand times on this forum. When an Asian applies for a license to operate a massage parlor the clerk taking the application clues in the cops, the cops check the place out while they are prepping the site, when they see known hookers going in to work they start gathering evidence. When they see it's only old guys going in as customers they send the undercovers in, when they get told to bust it they bust it. Before any of you guys have ever made a post about anything they know exactly what's going on in there.
