Just had perhaps my worst experience ever in an AMP. Bali. We're talking over 10 years.

Where do I start. Paid for an hour and then the tip and only got 20 minutes in the room. Was left in the sauna for about 5 to 10 minutes when other customers came and went. No pun intended. Saw Chanel or Channell, doesn't matter, looks were good but personality was pure crap.

When I complain to the mamasan, the "security" guard stands up and gives me a look like he is going to make a move on me. I ask him "WTF is your problem?" No answer.

The other attendants start joining in the banter. So it becomes clear to me that the situation can only get worse, I leave and manage to tell another customer that is about to enter my experience in ten seconds and he gets back in his car and leaves.

Like Jerry says "Though I may not be able to caution all, I still might warn a few"

My advice is to avoid these fools and put them on the dns (do not see) list for about the next month. At least.

Maybe mgmt will clean this crap out or the market will.

Going to this place is liking putting lighter fluid on your money and striking a match and watching it burn.

Although as always YMMV.

Just found this site. Can't believe it. I've been going to AMP's in bham and atl. For years. Returned to bham recently and very disappointed at the state of parlors here now. What's up? See bad reviews on Bali here. I believe it. Last time I was there was about a year ago and was very rushed. Didn't enjoy much especially sense I remember the good days of time aroma at that place. Any of ya'll remember coco. That girl was an absolute work of art. Became such a regular for her. She was truely nice I believe. She wanted to marry and stay here and I would have given serious consideration if I could have at that time. She was perfect in every way. Only perfect 10 in my book that I've ever seen. People say I'm crazy but let them. Some people gave her a hard time and she told me she was going to seoul but would return but time closed. Would love to know what ever became of her. Maybe I'm a fool but I still think of her from time to time.

Remember mamason at fuji was also at super spa. She was fun and used to be a provider at fuji but told me couldn't at super, but she did remember me and always made sure I was well taken care of at super.

Ya'll remember bebe. Used to work at yoshiko and then ran time. She was a great gal. Easy to talk to when she got to know you. She had a thai girl named May working with her that was super cute and fun to be with.

Man, this site is bringing back wonderful memories of fun times here in bham. Remember VIP by the pizza place and the one right up from pine tree, tokyo I think. Only visited those 2 once or twice. Fuji and the yoshiko {used to be QT-right? }

But once I discoved the unbelivable gorgeous Coco at time I couldn't leave her alone until she left. Man I truely miss those days and all those girls and the many others.

Yall seem to be a good group from what little of this site I've read, I'll return often with hopes that the situation in bham AMPs improves. I don't do the other scenes like the streets or the magazine or CL- too chicken! 1.

Anyway, I hope for better days and remember the great ones from the past and I always treat the girls with the upmost respect. They are people too.

I had her number for a while but then it changed, you know how they roll. Kept up with her for a couple of years directly and / or through people that knew someone that knew her. I Know her real name and have even looked for her on facebook and the likes from time to time but nothing. From Time, she went to Tampa and worked for a while and then back to the ATL where she floated between ATL and Tampa. Several years ago, she settled in ATL and made an investment but then got tagged. Sorry if I name dropped alittle much for a first post but was just glad I found this site. I'm not really a big internet guy but having read back over alot of these post I'm glad I found it. I'm now back in Bham area- hope AMP situation improves here but they do tend to come and go so to speak don't they.

Even with some mixed posts on the board, I had time on my hands, was in the area, and someone had just walked in VIP so I decided to take a chance. I figured at least I would get a rub and TS. I am glad I did. Met with Chanel and had a great time. No request for $'s up front just a comment the I would take care of her. Maybe my lucky day but has me thinking of another visit.

Maybe I'm just lucky but I've had pretty good luck at Bali. The massages have always been decent and the service has always been enthusiastic. I did have one bad experience there a few months back but ordinarily I don't get rushed and thoroughly enjoy myself. Just wanted to pass my experiences along since it seems to get a bad rap a lot of the time. Of course I'm also pretty new to the hobby and missed out on some of the other offerings in the past.

I've been to VIP twice and the first time left happy after a pretty good massage. The second time oddly I guess I made the lady nervous, she was older but she hadn't hit that asian wall yet, but she did give me an incredible massage. I was almost tempted to go back again to see if she was still there but decided not. I travel a lot for business and will go to spas at the hotels and her massage was better than half I've received at pretty decent spas. And for less than half the price!

I'll be in Birmingham soon, and one of the things I remember are your AMP's, which we don't have in my area. I also remember that many aren't so great and they can deteriorate or shut down quickly. Anyone want to share (by PM or here) any that are more reliable, and what I would need to bring with me in order to have plenty of fun!

Made a visit to Bali this week and all I can say is WOW. I saw jessie and she is great. No rush, great attitude, great body, good massage and wonderful ending. Twice. This is by far the best experience I have ever had with an AMP. I hope to be back in the area soon. I WILL repeat.

Sampled the ole VIP recently. Bit of a wait, the mamasan offered shower! No thanks granny! Waited for girl. Finally arrived. Long in the tooth for sure but good attitude and shower / massage. All was offered. Overall decent. No fireworks though. Too pricey for me to want repeat.

After a couple of visits I gave her some not so subtle hints that Big Jim and the Twins would like some attention. She kept putting my hand on Jim and motioning for me to self serve. Finally I am like WTF and she keeps massaging and watching real interested as I massaged Jim to completion. Next trip she gives Jim a spin. She never lost any clothes or really got into much roaming but she did a decent job. On a return trip much later the girl had quit and I was talking to the owner and we talked about the lady and I told her my story about Jim. She aid they tried to keep everything legit, but a few customers only wanted a HE and they needed the cash. So they would have the customer do the first round to make sure they werent LE, the offered some limited services. Since the help has changed there were no more HE's on the menu for anyone. She had a lot of female customers and didn't want to chance getting busted and losing her legit business.

I actually went back to the place for the massages and got to know the owner who was probably really something back in the day and wasn't bad now and things kind of evolved into a real fun massage time. But kind of hit or miss depending on her mood. Still a great massage and real clear that fun time was not business, just fun.

This could be the case in Homewood. Trying to stay legit but testing the water for some extra cash.

Such as when she put her crotch near your hand rub it a little or when she brushed near the boys let her know you liked it by heavy breath or lift your ass to provide better access or when her crotch was over your head raise up and lick it. It has been my experience that when you show suttle signs of interest they will take it a little farther and so on.

I saw an independent massage therapist some years back in the Pelham area who gave the subtle hints on my first visit. I didn't respond and wish I had. On the next appointment I decided to respond to those "hints" and am so happy I did. She eventually moved out of the area, but memories of her still are fresh in my mind. She used to come back to town to visit family on occasion and would see a few of her regulars. I always made the effort to see her. For a while her B'ham # was hers, but I think eventually she changed it and I lost contact.

Awesome massage today. Saw Lisa. I have a bad back. Not really interested in extras. But the boys were flirted with. Glutes massaged to the max. Better massage than a LMT, in my opinion. Will be returning soon. $50 plus tip. Awesome. New place, neat clean. Used to be a mortgage loan office across from Lowes at Wildwood. Old signage still in place. High recommendation for basic massage. Regulars may get extras. Who knows? LOL!

I have been reading the recent posts. Be careful guys. I remember. Not too long ago a massage parlor on Greensprings near the Pizza Hut. It was shut down after about a month. HPD will patrol these type of establishments often, as well as perform undercover work to shut them down. BTW the other establishment also had sheets for doors, but gave wonderful HJs.

Girl is off the hook. About 5'2 slender build and long hair OMG maybe 110 lbs if that. Mid to late 20's if that. They got two other attendants there but only saw them in passing. Reminds me of the days of Coco and Kelly and the like. Door entry plus tip. Dayum, can't wait till gas gets down to 1. 60 again. Then could probably make it out there once a day.

On a lighter note, it is an excellent rate for a real massage.

I visited Bali a while back. I think the final game of the NBA playoffs was on that night. I was nervous at first because there was an older gentleman sitting on the sofa in the small lobby area. I spoke to him, he spoke to me and I went on inside. I don't know the ladies name but she was an older Asian lady and built like a BSH. It was one of the few times I went to a spa and didn't get full service but left walking sideways. That lady made me feel like a million dollars and I didn't even get to take a plunge. I saw another younger Asian girl that was absolutley beautiful when I was leaving. The older guy was still outside when I left. I've been wanting to go back and try the younger girl beacause I know for sure the older one took advantage of me.

I knew the young lady that opened and ran the place; Ocean Spa. I also visited often till it was closed. There were NO curtains but rooms with doors. Very high class girls working there and everything was on the menu for around 200. 00. Homewood is NOT a good location for an AMP as that type of establishment is quickly discovered and closed. MJ

Also gave it a whirl and, as reported, is a massage-only establishment. There is no table shower or sauna available. Just an excellent massage. Concentrates on the neck, back, glutes and legs. There is no flip to the frontside. Towel draping used in the first 30 minutes then discarded. Limited English language skills with young Chinese therapist. Great massage but no extras.

Never ever use a CC at an AMP. Not only will they tack on a service charge for using, but chances are they will goof it up. That being said.

If you want to have some fun, put the transaction in dispute with your CC company. You'll have fill out their form, but write it up like you were seeing a legitimate massage therapist, you paid with the CC, and they goofed it up and double charged you, did not provide the service they said they would, and send it in. More than likely you will get the charges reversed on your CC account.

The CC company will contact the people who handle the AMP's CC service and they have something like 30 days to reply to the dispute. If they don't respond in the 30 days your CC company will rule in your favor and reverse the charges.

I did that to the Fuji Spa in Birmingham (a long time ago) when they did a similar goof up on my CC. Since then I've only dealt with cash and only carried in the amount of cash I was willing to part with. And if they got snippy over that I told them to give me my money back and I'd go elsewhere. I have also reached over and pulled the cash back out of their hand and proceeded to the door as well.

Another tactic I've used in places I've been frequently I'll pay Mamasan for everything up front that way I don't have to haggle with the girl or have my session interrupted with money matters. Also if I know the Mamasan and the girl is getting snippy with me, I'll ask her to go get the Mamasan for me.

Been lurking here for over a year and figured I would finally post. I have only visited the VIP once, last summer (2011). I live about an hour away so I don't get to Bham much. Don't remember the girl's name (sorry) but she must have been in her late 30s. 8/10 body, a slim "butterface" with big implants. Table shower was my first; I didn't know what to expect, but she washed everything. Decent massage with a HE (which she asked if I wanted).
