Walked into Chez Joey. There were a few girls there. One was really aggressive and convinced me to buy her a drink. She tried to upsell to a room right then and there. Wasn't in the mood. Ended up getting a lap dance from her and she started demanding tips. Wasn't feeling it. Left. Chalk it up to a lesson learned (as always).
As I'm leaving, I see Ron (from the Red Room) walking in to Chez.
Walked into the Red Room. There was 1 girl dancing, and 2 girls talking with the only 2 customers there. The older woman (can't remember her name) was behind the bar. Wasn't feeling it. Left. Ron was apparently not working that night.
Looked at Lust for about 5 minutes. The floor was pretty empty, and most of the girls who weren't dancing for tips were sitting around or standing around on their phones. Left.
Decided to head East on 40.
Passed Desire and thought about going in. Kept past, got to Haven and turned around thinking I'd head back to Desire. Saw the sign for Haven Place. Figured I'd try it out instead.
I should've gone to Haven Place from the start. It felt a bit weird when I walked in, but the place was pretty chill. Handed over I'd, walked in, got a drink, and watched some of the girls on the pole. Ended up getting a lap dance for three songs. There were no extras offered and I wasn't looking for any, but a forum search tells me things might be on the table if you the right one. Might start going back there more often just to chill because this place was really laid back.
In Baltimore for a few days and somehow my car (and me) ended up down at the block. A few things struck me:
1) I was here a month ago and the garage on Gay street charged $9 to park all night. Last night the charge was $15. Personally I don't like that sort of inflation.
2) There were several clubs that had a number of girls there.
3) Red Room had a lot of pretty girls, several of whom were on the top of my list for TO (hot to trot. Or even gallop). Unfortunately they also had a lot of customers, so I didn't get more than one attempt by the girls to get me to buy a drink for them (if that).
4) Harem also had a number of very pretty dancers. I tried to get one of them for TO, but she said she never does anything outside of the club. (Of course I told her that other than buy a drink for girl, I never do anything inside of a club.).
5) Pussycat also had a number of good looking girls and the older blonde who runs the place wasn't there which made it a nice place to hang out also.
6) The Circus. Well what can I say, the dancers are. Well let's just say the bartenders are just as good looking for the most part.
7) The bartender at the Midway, Matt, is a good guy. He deserves every tip you give him. He keeps his bar clean, free of thugs, and just a nice respite from the rest of the block, although I remember years ago it was always packed and more often than not you could meet someone as pretty and interesting as in some of the other clubs there.
I made a oath to never stop foot in Hustlers but because my British friend was around, I felt like I needed to bring him along; I'll be damn if I have to get to the power plant or fells point.
Had a lot of good talent, all the girls are 10/10. Not really busy and the club was very relaxed. Didn't got approached too much; didn't have a problem with that at all.
One Asian girl name Chythia approached me and ask me if I wanted a dance. I accepted since the DJ announce the 3 songs for $40 (typically was 2 songs for $40); plus the songs lasted more than 2 minutes 30 seconds, had anyone notice that? As I was getting a dance from Cynthia, she told me that if I do get the VIP with her ($340 for 30 minutes) that we can get "intimate". I decline because I'm pretty broke but I'm pretty confident that she could be for sale. She even pointed out security turns a blind eye for anyone reserving the VIP.
Just reporting my findings what I encounter on Saturday for the labor day weekend.
The bartender at the Midway is named "Walt", not Matt. Apologies if he's reading this.

Work required a visit to BLtimore so I took advantage of an afternoon on the block.
Went to the Circus first, not sure why. Didn't immediately regret it but it didn't take long. Sat with a dancer for a few minutes and then the drama started. Nina, a veteran blonde, went off on another dancer for some reason. Yelling and threatening her. I have no idea what the problem was and no desire to find out. Left after pretty much chugging my beer.
Next stop was the Harem. A very attractive (IMO) petite blond accosted me said we had spent sometime together a few months ago. She knew my name and some details that she couldn't have guessed. In my mind, the most attractive and complete package I have encountered on the Block. Spent time and money at the bar, left with her digits. Plan to hit her up soon.
Next stop was the Red Room. Several very attractive and friendly ladies. Talked to a few whose names I forgot. One friendly and attractive dancer was named Lily. She's worth a trip back for me.
Last stop was the Jewel Box. Only two girls dancing— Brooke and Athena. For an hour or so, I was the only customer and benefited by a lot of attention from Brooke. We shared a preference for the day shift as opposed to the more rowdy nights. Bought Hera couple of drinks and very much enjoyed the time with her. Damn! The reasons to return to the Blockkeep mounting up.
In sum, the Circus continues to be the bottom of the barrel unless you like drama scenes. The other three are, In my opinion, worth your time.
Just found out that Sophie Dee will be at Fantasies for the next few days. While I know it's nothing special about a touring pornstar doing strip clubs, it's her unadvertised side activities that are more intriguing.

But these days, not a lot of agencies are using Eros anymore so really you need to be on their email list and get weekly notices. For Sophie's case, I found out because on one of the emails listed a UTR Brunette was going to be in town. Since I've used that agency before, she told me who it was. Some pornstars will be doing strip club shows and side escorting, others will just be escorting. And some will only be stripping. Just got to know the main agencies and have good references and you'll be set.
