So to much extent I blame the gov't whether federal, state, or civil that keep prostitution illegal and by default creating the pimps, pushers, users, diseases, and all the other social ills and criminal elements that go along. Control and regulation.

Now as far as your last comment with the risks involved, I will stick with those I know. I've taken a couple of chances with unknowns and I didn't particularly care for the experiences but by no means were they comparable to having a gun pointed at you, which I had as a teen working in the fast food biz. My 1st comment to everyone after I heard this story from a very close friend is: Leave this shit alone or else!

Friend responded to the above number which actually had an ad but after this incident, the perpetrators took it down. So he goes to Wilson Blvd area. Once there, he is told by the so-called provider to come to door and walk right in and go to bedroom. Somehow he said it didn't feel right so he told the girl on phone to come open exterior door which she says she will, albeit, reluctantly. He said this should have been the 1st sign but he kept going. He said when he told girl to open the door, the door swung open but no body was standing at door. So he went right up to door and began looking left to right while standing outside and it was totally empty. He said he peaked his head in more and looked to the right and that's when some big black dude pointed what appeared to be a gun at him. At that point, he immediately took off across the street running and yelling,"call the police, I'm being robbed!" He said he ran to a few houses to try to get them go call the police and yelling and screaming- mind you, this is about 1 in the morning!

He said that as he looked across the street, he saw 2 black dude running out of the house and towards the back in the darkness. Finally he indicated that a young man was kind enough to bring him a phone and he called 911 but while on the phone with 911, the cruisers came driving up- about 4 of them.

Now let me say this about LEO. I know sometimes people get on here talking about how bad LEO is and how they ought to leave this bodyrub / escort / hooker or whatever you call it alone and go after the gang-bangers, drug dealer, etc, but the bottom line is, I am sure my friend was glad when LEO showed up. At least last I heard. As for my friend should have known better, well pal let me tell you something, some situations can look pretty normal up to a point; if not this one per se, yet there's another one. People may think they are highly intelligent and know a whole lot about it BUT, all it takes is a situation that looks harmless to you or anyone else and they got you. Scams can come in all shapes, sizes and such and even the most clever one among us can get bitten. Anyway, the fact that he explained to cops that it was for a body rub isn't a bad thing- safety was my buddy's main concern.

Now, I am sure I will get some more responses from different ones saying how clever they are and how they wouldn't have done this or that; all I can say is save it! Things have a way of looking quite differently than it would during the day time. He said things looked fairly normal. Even with the pad lock device didn't really raise any concerns because people can still live in their homes and yet have these devices on there and with Jax having the highest foreclosure rate in the country, it's just not unusual to see this type of thing.
